Today is Johnny's birthday and we've made a day of it. Now we're home to watch some shows on PBS. Life is good.

Carol I'm planning on adding 3 more raised beds for next season if I can get Johnny to build them. Raised beds are sooo much easier than planting in the ground.

of course you are right. and FYI: if you have a Sam's Club down where you live, they sell nice raised beds. They are only like 8 x 4 give or take, but they are not wood & so would last well.

I thought of those but they are far too small for me to plant potatoes in...well unless I bought 3 or 4.

OM Goodness. I neglected to say Happy Birthday to Johnny.
"Happy Birthday, Johnny" !! Best wishes to the next year as well.

I just came in the house from watching my Town's Fireworks display. They were having some kind of Patriotic celebration this weekend. This after noon began with a 5K run.

We had talked of going to the Park this evening but it has rained so much the last few days we thought it would be far too muddy to navigate the grounds. Seeing the fireworks was the next best thing!! Even if there were some trees in the way.

The Constitution was signed 229 years ago today. That is probably what your town was celebrating. It was a blip on the radar in our city.
Sweet dreams all. I'm heading out.

Good morning.

I had a hard time to get in...I kept getting an error message saying that the web server was down.

Happy belated birthday to Johnny.

It is raining here today..the weather is cooling down fast.

Good morning. Happy hamburger day. We choose the most random things to celebrate.

It is to be 100+ degrees here, Sunny. I would like to see it cool off a little.

Today is set aside to wash bedding and cleaning bodies to sleep in them tonight. It is a happy day for us.
I hope all have a great day.

I am sorry you had trouble, Sunny. Glad you were finally able to get it.

It has cooled off here too. The days are more like fall now--warm and a person could still wear shorts if they were inclined, but not scalding hot so to speak.

No rain here again today... :) I wish everyone a good day.

update: it appears Tina & I were posting at the same time..... a clean bed is a wonderful thing--I did mine already for this week. However, I just finished making my guest bed & have begun to gather my travel items on it.

I will do laundry tonight after I put my PJ's on. I figure I just as well add the clothes I have on to the wash.

Goodnight Tina. I hope you all enjoy your wonderful, clean beds. (I love that first night on newly cleaned sheets)

My 2nd load is in the dryer..when it is done I too will go to bed.

Going now to watch extreme RV's--I DO have to wonder though, where people get the money for them.

Good morning. We've got a chance of thunderstorms today. I say, bring 'em on! I was going to go out to the store today. But it looks like I don't need to. So I will think of something else to occupy myself and go tomorrow.
I hope everyone finds pleasant occupations for themselves today.

We are in desperate need of rain. It's a little overcast but no moisture. It's really bad around here.

I had a bad night with chills and hurting all over. I feel better now so I'm not sure what that was all about. Yesterday my legs hurt so bad all I could do was complain but I was able to go to church and do everything normally. Guess it was just a few hour virus coming on.

I hope you do get some rain, Tina.

Sheri, I do so hope that you are feeling better today.

I went to the Drs. today. I got mostly good news, all is well or better than last time--well, except for the fact that I only lost 5 pounds, not 20. I told them they need to check their other scale....

Happy birthday to your DD. Jonni turned 25 last month.
Good morning. Happy Tuesday. Today I will go out and get a few things for our week. And towards the weekend ahead because there is another big thing at the park. It will be nice when concert season is over.
I hope everyone has a good day.

I did my shopping and got it home and put away. I'll have to go back out on Thurs. (Before the Ozzfest and Knotfest begins. That will be 3 days of camping.) But it's done for now. Afterwards I also stopped by my storage and baited it with mouse poison. I can begin to clear that out soon.
I took out my trash to the dumpster on my first outing. I gathered more and took it to the dumpster the second time. And I brought one box from my storage to go through and probably toss. It's Christmas stuff and not mine so something somebody dumped on me sometime.
Every corner that gets cleaned out is one less to worry about.
I think it is nap time.

Good Morning,

Been awhile since I posted...... just been under the weather, then playing catch up with Nicoli and school lessons... we have had lots of writing to so this year so far... and projects that take extra time too... Derek is back homeschooling too, they wouldn't get him a para so Carrie pulled him out and he is back to online ... we are going up to mountains tomorrow , gathering leaves, and studying the fall changes, use the leaves for art projects and visit some of the mining towns for history, give us a nice break too...
Happy late birthday wishes for your DD , Sunny...

We are finally working on getting our bathrooms redone... or want to get it done before winter sets in... we have almost decided to sell the house and move back to AZ ... it's just getting to expensive to stay here.... but we shall see.... hate to leave my kids but Carrie says they may move too after Timothy finishes high school... other boys can be homeschooled anywhere...

Well off to go teach some more and then home to start dinner in crockpot... have a good day all.
Nana

I echo all that Tina has said, Nana. I am glad that you are feeling better now days as well.

Tina: Do not overwork yourself
.
I am soon off to run some errands--again--but that is ok as many of them are in the same area. so it will not be that involved of a chore.

Supposed to be VERY hot here again for a few days. I guess summer wants one last hurrah before fall sets in.

I wish everyone a great day

We finally got a little rain this morning. Not enough but some.

Junie, 5 lost is a good thing.

I can't say that I feel bad but I can't say I feel good either. I have this weird pain in my left side somewhere. I can't explain it except to say my left insides hurt.

To Sheri (ie. a nurse) I agree, have you considered seeing a Dr. ?

Got my errands done today.....that was nice to get them finished.

I need a nap, but it is soon time to make supper....

Hi all...my modem is giving me trouble. This poor little Netbook is on its last as well....it's a hit or miss to get on here.

Nice to see Nana pop in...we missed you.

Sheri...get your ovaries checked. I had left sided pain for months..and that was the problem. It was a weird achy pain and it made me feel bloated.

DH and I made a full repair list for around the house and such....the to-do list multiplies faster than the done-it list goes. This week we have to dig the trench to put in drain pipe from the foundation to the ditch, flooding is becoming a regular thing for people here. Financially I think people are better off on rent.

Hoping you are all enjoying the last days of Summer.

Good Morning! I am drinking coffee with Pumpkin Spice Coffeemate in it..YUM !!!!

I see I failed to come in to say goodnight last night.. I was so tired I went to bed early so my routine was messed up. I hope everyone slept well.

We need several things here as well. new screens on many of the windows to start. As I rarely open a window, I guess that will be put on hold.
I think it best if I do not even start a list...it would be too long.
Only thing that has to be done is the foundation crack repair. Rod was going to do that this summer but put it off. I guess that will wait until next summer now.

A few phone calls to make today and then we will see what else I have to accomplish. Perhaps I will order some rugs for the livingroom. Mine a SOOOO very old.

Good afternoon.

I just got in from moving everything out of my side flower bed...thankfully I could just move it into the empty veggie garden for now. We are hoping to rent the excavator this weekend to put in our drain pipes. It will be a big job but one that only needs being done once.

I am sad to hear that everyone has issues with their homes as well....it seems it is hard to get ahead. kissie

I got my shopping done and filled my tank. All is well in that area. I have got a friend of Jonni's coming up on Monday to get some of my outdoor work done around here. Yay for someone who can handle a rake!

It is good that you found some help Tina...raking is probably a never ending chore there isn't it?

Junie, sometimes the simplest tasks cause the most pain...hoping or finger heals quickly.

I have errands to run today...DH is gone to take GG to school. She is refusing to go if she has to live with her mother. I pray DD does what is best and gives her back to us. There is so much anger and hurt in this little girl's heart. Kids do not forget the past.

Good morning. Happy Friday.
Carol, I hope you slept well. Burns really eat into my sleep.
Sunny, I wish there were a simple fix for your situation. It hurts all when a child hurts.
It's supposed to get hot and windy today. I'm as ready as I can be today.
I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning !

Tina...As much as I dread the thought of winter, I surely do not like the high heat either. I hope you make it thru the heat, It is supposed to be hot here as well for a few more days. Then into the 70's next week. I slept well but not long. DH wakes me when he is getting ready for work in the A.M.

Sunny: It is so hard to see little ones hurt, I hope that you get this resolved for what is best for your GG. All the changes right now are surely not helping..poor little thing.

Ladies: My finger is sore but I do not think it will blister---that is what I was concerned with. I keep Aloe Vera on hand & after soaking the finger in ice water I dried it and put a pile of Aloe Vera on it---I am hoping all I get out of this is a sore finger... why

Today I have to run a few errands as well. I do so wish my DH would learn to tell me he needs things BEFORE he runs out. I could have did this errand yesterday.. rolz

I too wish you all a good day.

I've been off cooking. It felt good. I haven't cooked much all summer. I have wider options now and an appetite that tends to come back about this time. Even with high temps outside.

Cooking--gee you sure could be cooking for me. I want a nap SO very bad--but nope, I am cooking bone-in Country Ribs & potatoes for mashing.

If I lived alone I would eat a bigger meal around 2 pm & then snack at night if I were hungry again.

I'm thinking after Rod retires, you may get him to fall into that pattern with you. It is pretty much how I eat too.

While he's still working, I would not try it. A hot meal at the end of a work day is a comfort looked forward to.
But as I only have myself to feed now, I eat my main meals early in the day. And have snack-y foods in the evening. Sometimes it's a bowl of cereal or a salad or hummus and pita chips. Usually with fruit or a veggie.
Good night all. Sweet dreams.

Thanks for the advice, Tina...I think you are right about the food. Rod does not like to eat much lunch while working so when he comes home at night he is really hungry,

I am headed to bed myself, Sweet Dreams to you all.

Good morning.

My grandmother used to cook the biggest meal of the day at 1 pm, with extra meat so that the supper was leftovers. I hope it works out for you the same Junie.

How is the new helper working out Tina?

I am making a post in Hollow Log...

Good morning.
My new helper will be here to work on Monday. So I don't know yet how he will work out.
I'm out of it this morning. I'm glad I don't have anything major on my plate today. The day would be wasted at the end. So I have chance of making it better.
I hope everyone has a great day.

DH is outside with the backhoe he has rented. We have the trenches dug and will lay new pipe in a few minutes. We had drain tile but it was filled with soil completely....this new sewage pipe has no holes so it should work right this time to drain water from our basement. Tomorrow will be a full day of raking and cleaning the mess we made.

Tina, is it noisy from the weekend concert?

Whatever was going on with me went away on it's own. Strange. Guess it was a weird virus. And we finally got some rain. Things are all pretty and green again. My hair is a frizzy bushy mess but the yard looks good :)

I got rid of Jesus the yard man. I love Jesus but he just plain stopped doing a good job. It's been going on for several months. I now have Mr. Sullivan. He's been once and the yard looks better than it has in a long while. He said he's willing to do some handy man stuff too. Just hope he's as handy as Jesus.

I have a friend who is married to a big time farmer. Her big meal is at lunch with leftovers at night. It really messes up her whole day because she has to start cooking right after breakfast. It seems she's constantly cleaning the kitchen.

Tina: Sorry you were out of it today. I hope that you will feel better tomorrow.

Sunny: Glad you have the drainage pipe work done. Sorry you had to tear up the yard for that...We had to use a back hoe in the back yard to repair a basement crack. Luckily Rod cleaned up a mess.........Thanks for telling me about your relative, Sunny. I suppose it will work out. I am hoping Rod gets a part time job. That would keep him busy & we would have life be a little more like normal..we shall see

I am going to the HL when I am done posting here....

Sheri: I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better. IMO there are all kinds of "new" viruses around these days.
A New yard man. Good for you. I hope this one works out for you.

.........I have a friend (2 actually) that fix their main meal between 1 & 2 pm & then coast on the evening meal. It sounds like a GOOD plan to me but I do not think Rod will like it---I have a feeling that he will expect me to "cook" 3 meals a day.( I pack his lunch, & then cook one a day now) We were talking about retirement today & he seemed surprised that I would not be at lost ends as to what to do with myself when "he" retires...SMDH...I am so worried about what he is going to expect of me that I am not even going to think about it until he does in fact retire.

We watched 2 Star Wars movies together this afternoon--evening..it was nice.

I haven't watched any of the star wars movies past the first 3 (episodes 4-7). I am just not interested for some reason.
I hope you can figure a way to retire that is pleasant for both of you.
Sheri, I am glad you are feeling better.
I am going to bed soon. Sweet dreams all.

Hi all.

I have half the mess cleaned up already...I'll finish the raking later. I cut back and replanted the ninebark...I might wait and move the perennials back in spring. It surely was a big job.

I do hope it stays quiet for you Tina.

Good to hear you are better Sheri. I am glad that you have a yard/handy man to help.

Junie, send Rod over when he retires....I'll cook in exchange for some help with the farm animals grin

I just finished defrosting and organizing the freezer....good news is that there is supplies for about 40 meals in it.

Good morning. I slept well and woke well.
One last day of concert then it is all over (I think). It is going to be another hot day today. Not ideal concert weather. I already have my cooler on.
I only heard snippets of the concert people. Various car alarms and police sirens. The fireworks were a bit noisy last night. So it is all good.
How exciting. Your first granddaughter's first visit. That will be wonderful for you, Carol.
Forty meals is good, Sunny.
I really need to clean up and inventory my freezers but it's not happening today.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Hi all,

Just finished cleaning half the house and doing next months budget... dinner is in crockpot. steak and gravy... potatoes cooking in smaller crock for mashed... we are going to Derek's baseball games this afternoon... about 4 . I will only stay for the first one... can't sit in a lawn chair that long... the weather is changing and making me ache along with the changes...
Sunny hope your granddaughter does come to stay with you... you are her stability it sounds like... kids need that...as seems like fewer get it anymore...
Nicoli and I have lessons tomorrow... he did well on getting some of his online tests completed and got a skip a portfolio item so he wants to use it on the social studies timeline we had just started.. fine with me.. it was going to be a pain.... and just busy work as far as I could tell...

We have been thinking hard about selling our house here and moving back to Az.. but to Sierra Vista area, weather is not so hot in summers and a smaller town... we do have to fix up house some first..redo bathrooms, replace bathtub... and flooring in both baths... had a guy recommended and he is busy for next 8 months so trying to get hubby to call his BIL who can so all that kind of work and would help if asked I am sure... why do men have to be so stubborn..?

Well gotta get taters peeled and get ready to go soon..have a good day all..

Nana

I'll miss Jesus. I like him and he stays here 8 hours but I think he's working around the pecan trees more than in the yard. I should have never given him the pecans last year.

We went to see the remake of the Magnificent 7 with Denzel and it's great. I was exhausted after dodging all those bullets.

Sunny: question: does your DH know just how lucky he is?? You do an awful lot around the house to say the least.

............I will be sure to send Rod right over for sure when he retires. He does love to eat.....
............I should clean out my freezer--there is not 40 meals in there but I think I need a refresher as to what is in there--and the freezer needs defrosted, I have NO idea what I was
............thinking when he bought a freezer we have to defrost.

Tina: I am so glad to hear your concert season is over. I am sure life will be easier for you now...well until next round of concerts. Yes, I am so excited to have the Triplets here.
.........I think everyone in my family cannot wait either.

Nana: Moving....we think of moving closer to my DD with the triplets. BUT I just do not want to add to her burden as I age not to mention There are not enough of the smaller .towns so I could get around to do my shopping. She surely doe snot need me to add to her complicated life. What about your Daughter & the boys if you move?? I think she would be lost w/o your help. why Sorry just me thinking out loud.

Sheri: I remember when you gave Jesus the pecans. Yes that was probably not the best of ideas. I can see where his wife kept after him to bring more home. I will hope that your new handi-man is as good as Jesus was. You got to go to the theatre. I am glad for you. it is nice to have some time out together.

I am going to go back to wrapping some Christmas gifts for Emily & her family. Rod may come & get me when it is time for me to go home after helping Emily. IF he does, he will bring out what I have already wrapped.
I wish everyone a great evening.

Thanks, Tina--it is MT favorite time of the year--I love giving people gifts !!

I have all of Emily & her family's wrapped. Now, before you get too impressed with me, I did not have very much bought so it was a quick job.
One special thing though. I used special & different paper for "Santa" back in the day (when he came around for my little ones). Well, tonight I used the very last piece of one of the rolls that I had...it sure must have been a BIG roll is all that I can say !!!

I really should pack Rod's lunch & then get to sleep, as I must get up early tomorrow to go get my pneumonia shot... why it seems it is always something......

So, I will say goodnight to you all.

Santa used separate, special paper here too. He left me the ends of the used rolls every year and used something new the next year. It was cool.
I'm heading to bed too. Sweet dreams all.

Good morning.

I see everyone has been busy.

The weather is so cool now...the frost is in the air and on the ground. Good thing is that it means this week I can go pick my apples for jelly.

I have my tomatoes ripening also to make bottled salsa

Today is a clean and mop day...we surely dragged in a lot of gravel this weekend on my floors.

Good morning all.
That sounds wonderful, Sunny.

I was up and down much of the night. It's a good thing that I don't have much that needs my attention today. I don't have any. I am going to get some coffee and see if that helps.
I hope you all have a good day.

Apple jelly--My DH would be ever so impressed with me if I made that for him...I do not think that will happen however.

Tina..It was around 12 when I went to bed--then Rod had the bed so messed up that I could not even lie down, so I got up & stayed up until just before he got up--then I went to sleep in another room & he got me up to get ready for my appt. to get my vaccination before he left for work,

I had to have a nap this afternoon--now I am way behind...

I am off to cook supper now--- wavy

Tina why were you up and down last night? Plain insomnia or feeling bad? Sometimes if I eat late, like I did tonight, I don't sleep well.

We're going to visit Colt tomorrow. His school is doing something special every day this week for some reason and then Friday they have a fall festival of sorts. Nothing big, just each class has some type of game or special project.

Apple jelly does sound good. I should be so industrious because we have apple trees. If Johnny would eat this stuff I think I'd be more motivated to do something with all the good stuff growing around me. He doesn't even eat the strawberry jam I put up. I share it with Ginger, Shelley, and my mother. I might see if we have any apples the deer didn't get and make some anyway. It's hard to do anything with figs. They are so sweet I can't eat many of them and I don't like fig jam. I give them away to several people.

I don't know why I was awake so much. Probably the wind messing with me mostly. I hope I do better tonight.
Have a good time with Colt. It's wonderful that you have the time with him.

Yes, Sherri, relish those wonderful times with Grands...I know I do if & when I get the opportunities.

Some nights are just like that aren't they, Tina ?? I do so wish they were not though. I washed our bed clothes, so now I do not have to worry about a messy bed. I think I will sleep good tonight as well...at least I hope so.

I am itching so. I thought at first that I had ant bites form yesterday when I planted a red MUM that my BIL & SIL bought me as a thank you for putting them up for a few days. But now I am wondering about chiggers. I was on my kneeling chair that is close to the ground...

I have to make Rod's lunch and then I think I may be headed to sleep or the night Sweet Dreams to you all.

I watched the debate tonight. There was nothing else on. I did wander off and wash dinner dishes and folded some clothes. So didn't watch so much. I will sleep tonight. I got bored.
Sweet dreams all.

Good morning.

I hope you slept well Tina.

Junie and Sheri....homemade apple jelly on top of toast covered with melted cheese is my favorite Winter breakfast.

Today I have to take my grandson to see a physiotherapist...we are still at a loss as to why he does not want to walk.

Good morning. I hope you get good news from the doctor this morning, Sunny.
I woke up hot this morning. I'll need to wash my hair. Ick.
But in spite of the heat, I slept well. So it will be a good day.
I hope everyone has a great day.

Tina, the doctor said to leave him bare feet for two months..and to put anything he wants at a higher level and make him 'work' for it. We go back in two months, if there is no improvement then they will start exercises and special boots will be a must.

I went over my ankle at the hospital...it was a little sore, now it is aching. How stupid of me lol

Good Afternoon !!!

Sunny, good news on the baby. Sounds like the Drs. have this all under control That is good to hear.

I had a great day at ceramics. And a great time visiting with my ceramic friends over lunch. Now I need to begin organizing my house so I know what needs to be done before the weekend. It is a beautiful day here. I so hope the weather keeps this up for the weekend.

You should have had your ankle looked at while you were there, Sunny.

Sunny, I agree with Tina. You need to take extra care of you now since you have GG to watch over.

I agree..she is old enough----I did that with my girls..I can remember that I would have my oldest make her bed--she was like 5 yrs old. When she was done, it was a mess but she was proud---and so I left it that way.

But there is more than that. If she's incorporated being helpful when Grammy's laid up, It will do great things for her self esteem. But more so that she is a needed cog in the wheels that make the family run smoothly. That is so wonderful when it dawns on a kid that they're really needed.
I'm going to cruise around and say goodnight now. Sweet dreams all.

How many people are coming to the party Junie?

Good morning.
Sunny, that sounds like my ankle sprain from a couple (few) years ago. I never took it to a doctor either. The second day the top of my foot was a beautiful rainbow of colors and my second to last toe as never been normal since. But my ankle was definitely sprained. I rested it a lot with it raised. I used ice at first and bandaged it to keep it stable. I used crutches to help me maneuver around but used the ankle to bear weight as much as possible. And as it recovered, I exercised it a lot.
I hope you get better quickly.
Yes, Carol. I am interested in your coming events, also.
I Hope everyone has a great day.

Yup Tina...it's the same kind of sprain as that.

I ended up with 10 bottles of salsa...and I am glad to be done. I forgot about the big mess that it makes lol

I just ordered GG's snowsuit from Walmart, they had plenty of boys suits yesterday(DD picked up grandboy's) but they said they did not receive any for girls in the shipment. I'm not taking an chances as the one's online said 'limited stock'. touched

Hello everyone ! Well I had quite the day...NOT.

This morning while I was enjoying my morning coffee (with Pumpkin Spice Coffeemate). My Mom called me, It seems that day before yesterday she strained some back muscles raising & lowering some windows of her house, & she strained some muscles......then yesterday her back did not hurt enough yet, so she picked up her HEAVY security box to look inside of it & she must have strained some muscles further. Mind you she was this way yesterday afternoon & we could have called the Dr. or gone to the ER yesterday evening--but nope, we had to go today...we spent a LOT of time there.... Now I am exhausted, and NONE of my house is cleaned for when the girls come here.

OH well--Mom could have been worse, and I am thankful that she is not.

Around 20 people are coming.. Several family members will not be able to make it..biut we will do with whome is there.

This party is in dad's honor. it is for family. I will post in the HL about it>

Here, let me try this again....(I was in the middle of posting & Rod came back home)

Sunny..how is your foot/ankle feeling?? I have been wondering how you were doing. I hope you are not over doing.

Tina: sounds as if you were up & at 'em early today...way to go girl...

I am in the computer room/babies room as of now--cleaning & rearranging things so we can fit another pack n play in the small room for the 3 girls. I will get done eventually..
Good news is tomorrow night Rod is taking me out to eat tomorrow night, so I will not have to cook before the party and clean up that mess--so yay for me.

I wish everyone a great rest of the day !!

How is your mother today, Carol?
I didn't get a nap today. But I did manage to get dirty. I am in need of a shower.

she is ok---since she knows she did not break any bones, she has to now suffer thru the pain of a pulled/strained muscle. She has pain pills from this winter but they make her sick...I got a 20 minute nap this evening. I sure wish I had of gotten more... why

she says she is going to the party on Saturday but that 2 of her lady friends are going to bring her--that will be good, as well she was going to drive out herself.

Tomorrow I have to find someone to help me watch the girls while Val is in the dentists....so that my SIL can go out to the creek with Rod. and then pick up the cold foods to go out---it wil be a full day as I have to then pack the non-perishables & then vacuum.

Back

Good gracious..I just made some pre-packaged sugar cookies.. they are NOT good... but oh well..I will hope that I am picky. Besides, I also have some peanut butter cookies made & will soon make chocolate chip. They never disappoint .

Good to hear that it is not me Tina. Rod just got up & said the sugar cookies were ok--his exact words were (what is wrong with them?)

So I will hope that the other men do not think they are bad either. I think my main issue with them is MY sugar cookie recipe makes soft cookies, and they have a small amount of spices in them...yummy to say the least.

I am tired now & I think I will call it & go to bed now--night night .

Read the ingredients on those sugar cookies and you will understand why the taste is off. It is nothing like homemade.
This time I am really going to bed. Sweet dreams.

Good morning. I slept in today. But it's all good. I'm going to be busy today. It's bill paying day and setting up my budget for the coming month. I think I'll will start with a shower.
I hope you have a couple great days, Carol.
Have fun cooking for your hungry freezer, Sunny.

Stocks are made and I have a pumpkin spice loaf in the oven...time to start supper in a bit as well.

I hope you are all caught up Junie.

Tina, thanks for reminding me...I have to set up my budget as well.

Tomorrow I will be visiting my uncle in the hospital...I am not sure what is going on. I was told to go visit and find out what he wants to tell me himself of the situation. nooo

Oh, how sad to be in that situation, Sunny.
I have done everything I hoped to get done this morning. It is a good day.

Sugar cookies are close to being my favorite and I like them a little soft. I won't eat a crunchie sugar cookie. Just isn't right. I don't have stock of any sort in my freezer. You guys are too smart for me.

We went to Colt's this week. Had a blast. I'm exhausted.

Thanks Tina...They are all coming tomorrow morning. Rod & Brian will go out to the property and I will stay with Val while she has her dentist's appt.
WE should get out there around noon. But thank you so very much for your well wishes. I am thinking it will be a wonderful time---Now only if it "does not" rain.... prayers

I am going to wash my dishes & then go to sleep. I will see you all as I can---probably Sunday evening.

I wish you all a great day tomorrow !!
