Hi all!!

I had bought a bunch of daffodils, tulips and hyacinths last year when they were on clearance. Already blooming in pots. Well, they sat around the better part of the summer with me watering them and putting off planting them. Anyway, I went into the hospital in Sept for emergency surgery and was out of commission all winter. My pots with the bulbs got put into a trash bag and stored in our shed for the winter... We just found them today. Some of them are sprouting, but they aren't green... they are more yellowish. And the soil in the pots was super dry.

My question is, are they viable?? Will they bloom? And what's the best course of action to help them along?

Here are pictures.

They are still viable. Just water them and feed them. You can plant in the ground if you want but do it soon. The sprouts will green up with sunshine.
I'm glad your surgery went well and welcome back, Jennifer.

Thank you Tina!! Sorry it's taken me this long to reply. I got your reply when I was on my phone and for some reason I was unable to post from it.

So I took your advice and some of them actually bloomed. The ones that didn't, I'm going to plunk in the ground anyway, just in case they may bloom next spring. grin
