Not a cutting or petunia plant, I know how to pinch those, my question is about seed starters to make them stronger and bushier They are just getting their second leaves. Last year I didn't pinch them and they were kind of wobbly from the soil up, and a tad spindly? They are so tiny right now, do I just pinch off the centre growth to make them stronger. Do green houses pinch them? Still learning, thanks guys.

Yes you pinch the terminal bud to make them bushier. You can do it to side shoots too a couple of times. The rest is plenty of sunshine.

Thank you Tina, mine are just wee seedling babies, what size do they have to be or how many leaves do they have to have before they can be pinched?

I'd say when they have several true leaves. Just pinch the top ones off. They should start branching a bit.
