Good morning. I'm not too ready for a party though. Maybe later after coffee.

Good morning....if it's a food party than I am in. grin

I hope Johnny is feeling o.k. today, usually accidents take a day or two to set in with the real pain. Fight the insurance Sheri.

I was gone all day yesterday...my daughter had a lot of paperwork things to sort out, what a mess trying to get the Orphan Benefits for the baby. We finally finalized things and they gave her the back time owed to her since July.

I was lucky enough to hit a good clearance sale at Walmart...and I spent my Xmas money from my mom on new clothes.

I hope everyone has a good day ahead...I am getting prepared for the freezing rain storm on it's way for us this afternoon. touched

Good Morning !

IT is cooler & windy here this morning. I guess I should turn on the TV to hear the weather.

Yes, Sunny. It is a food party. The more the merrier.

Gracious, I just spent over an hour updating my Graphics. Photobucket is bent on making me pay for its services......
and just as an FYI...it is not gonna happen.

PS: if anyone "borrowed" a mailbox graphic from me that opens & has hearts spilling out of it, could I borrow it back???
I cannot seem to find mine...

Good evening, our rain has turned to snow. I'd rather that storm instead thumbup

I am spending the evening baking...seems like a good way to spend an evening by myself. Any orders while the mess is going? grin

Yes, Cherry and Blacberry pies. IF that is to much then Oatmeal cookies.

and if you are board (wrong spelling?) then I would LOVE to order some divinity. May I ask why you got the luck of being home alone tonight??

Supper is in the oven & tomorrow roast is thawing in the fridge.

It was a busy day. But I am home for the rest of the day. *I took care of a lot of business today.

Hi Tina.

Junie, I am alone because of the bad weather....DH will be at work all night. So far I made a batch of bread, maple walnut rolls and two dozen banana muffins(for GG)...off to make a batch of cookies for DH.

I haven't had divinity in years...that is a sinful treat isn't it?

I didn't steal yours juniegirl and I had a difficult time figuring out how to share a gif in Windows 10. The info isn't where you'd think it would be.

I took some cough medicine and now my face is broken out and burning. It's no fun having a cough and not being able to take medicine.

I am not allowed to take much, but I CAN take Delsym. As you probably know it is just a suppressant, but hey, it would be better than nothing, right...

Yes Windows 10 is different, but just get used to clicking on the "window" lower left on your desktop. when you do, then look up and see the row of "boxes" (well sorta) under "life at a glance", in the second row, middle is where your photos are. I hope I helped you.

Good morning...the storm has ended and the roads are a sheet of ice, and they never cancelled school touched . My daughter called and said she is keeping GG home today anyway.

Today is a clean and mop day.

So glad that your DD had the sense to keep your GG home....When I was in school, sometimes, my school would not cancel on bad weather days either...But here is how it worked....No one who was absent, was counted absent and they did not have to make up work missed. And the kids present, usually just had a free day. This was done so that 1) the school got to count the day as one of attendance, and 2) so that they got at least "some money" from the state, for the number of kids that were there.

Good morning. Good call on skipping the icy roads. I would too.
Today the plan is to shop for the weekend and then clean house. We'll see how it goes.

I was supposed to clean up he kitchen today..and "de-clutter" it some. But I went to see Mom instead. My sister brought me some vanilla from Mexico....so I was a very happy camper.
Hey, Tina, at least the kitchen is cleaned, right ?? and having food prepared is work to, so to my notion you had a very productive day!!

Going to try to go to bed soon. night night

This will wake all of you up and gross you out. We have a dead mouse or something more horrible in our laundry room, probably in the dryer. That room smells awful and clothes that come out of the dryer smell awful. I have looked, Johnny has looked, Johnny has taken the vent apart, we have turned the dryer upside down, and we can NOT find it. I have no idea what to do.

Take the back off your dryer...snakes and mice can crawl in the dryer through the exterior vent opening. They then get caught in the drum cavity and get suffocated from the heat.

Good news on your appt. Junie.

Enjoy your time off Tina.

Good morning.
Carol, is your stomach better?
That is awful Sheri. It could be behind the wall?
Today I'm going to cook up a pot of beans. Not a big one. Just enough for a couple of servings. Any leftovers will be frozen and added to future meals.

I'm glad I got my shower in while it was warm today. It cools off very quickly after the sun goes behind the hill which is about 3 pm here. You can be fine in shirtsleeves for a bit and suddenly you're looking for a sweater then jacket. It is 3:30, jacket time.

OH YES, Tina...the shoe will drop here as well. I think next week already it will begin to "cool down". I am hoping that that is all it does...I DO NOT like snow or ice.....

Oh where oh where is May when you need it ??????

Good morning...it feels good to sit for a bit. I have been so busy with everything and everyone else that I forget about me at times.

Yes I do hope that Sherri has found her 'dryer bandit'.

Tina, I hope the weather cooperates with you for a bit...they were just showing on the news about how the sea lions in your area are being devastated with the changing temperatures.

Junie, can you wear one of the lighter 'tummy control' bands that they have at Walmart? They might leave your skin breathe a bit better. That itching must be horrible.

Our weather keeps sending us snow then milder temps to wear it down...it is so strange to have only a few feet of snow around the house this time of year.

Yes Johnny found our stinky little friend. Johnny had to take the dryer apart so I hope it will work now. The mouse had to have been in the house because we have a screen on our outside vent to prevent this sort of thing from happening. Terminix comes every 3 months so this mouse must have had some secret moves. :) I haven't seen indications that a mouse was in the house so maybe he wasn't here long.

I am still sick with this stupid cough. Can't sleep and you know how the doctor says honey works as well as cough syrup? Not so for this coughing girl. I'm diffusing eucalyptus essential oil which doesn't seem to be doing a bit of good.

Speaking of odd weather Tina; in my yard the crocus are blooming, the daffodils are budding, PLUS the spirea which blooms in the spring is blooming. Just looked out the window and even though most of the green is off the forsythia it has a few yellow flowers blooming. Weird.

It sounds lovely, Sheri. I hope you can shake the cough quickly.
