No questions here, just wanted to show off my pretty crimson king maple trees! They sure are pretty when they leaf out! thumbup Just wanted to throw the pics out there in case anyone is thinking of getting new trees.

We keep them around that height all the time because we don't want them growing so big near the house and get too tall to cut back down.

Holy Loz, you have a big house. never realized how big until now.

They are beautiful trees, love to have one but they cost $85 for a two foot one here.

I thought they were pretty today---the leaves look their best right now...during the dog days of summer they get much more of a dull brown.

That's a lot Tamara! Holy Cow!

BTW, the house isn't huge....but the basement is almost totally above ground, so it's like having 3 levels. thumbup

loz beautiful house---If you were to put the basement in the gound, your house would be almost like the one my daughter is looking at buying. (down to the siding)

Tamara: $85.00 wow--thats alot of $$ for a tree--gee we got 6 ft Autunm Blaze maples and paid $15.00 each for them-

I do not think even the Crimson King maple would increase $70.00 in price--I know they make nice trees, but why are they so expensive??

Yup, you can get other maples for $35 or free from the woods grin but the true red varieties are expensive.
