Hi all,

I know I have been missing in action- seems like anyway... well our trying to get Nicoli able to attend in school didn't work... he is back on the computer homeschooling... at least they have gone back to teaching math the way I understand it... the good news is Derek is still in school and doing okay- they are getting the message that he learns differently...and so they have to adjust
the way they teach him...

It is still very warm here too.. 46 days of over 90 so far this summer .. cooler nights but really warm days... global warming ? No snow in mts to speak of yet either...though the leaves are finally changing up there now... would like to take a drive up and see maybe this weekend..

Well I have a load of laundry to get done and , need to take out the fish for dinner... and some vacuuming to get done... and I used medicare and my sup ins today for first time to get my scrips... boy that made me feel old! LOL!

Have a good afternoon...

Nana

I am glad that Derek is in school at least. Maybe next year for Nicoli.
Sweet dreams all. I'm going to bed soon.

Good morning. I'm looking out my window and it is bone dry out. I turn on the tv and everyone is soggy rain. It is funny that the line stops just west of me. It will get here in a bit. I hope.
I wish everyone has a great day.

Good Morning. I was not feeling well last night, as apparently my DD & my smallest grandson shared their colds with me, & so went straight to bed. Sorry I did not say good night.

Today with the exception of making my neighbors some food (The guy that lives across from me passed away & They have a large family & so the wife has people to feed) I will just stay in & rest today.

I hope the rain gets to you as well, Tina.

I am so sorry they shared with you, Carol.
Oh, I got the rain all right. I discovered a new leak in my roof. I'll get up and work on that during the next dry spell.

I hope you are sleeping of your cold or whatever your family shared with you, Carol. I still have an hour yet until I can get Teddy to bed.

Good morning. Up early again. No rain today so it will be back to normal life. Teddy to school and shopping for our daily needs. And gas up my van. I'm not sure what else will get done but something will.

Good morning, yup Tina..there is always something to do isn't there?

I have a full line of clothes out...it is really warm for this time of year. The leaves are really taking their time to change and things that have should have been going dormant are starting to rebloom.

Hoping your computer arrives soon Junie.

Good Morning ! (yep it is still morning)

Yep there is always something to do--but I must say, I am going to cherish this last 2 years before Rod retires...I can see him keeping me busy all day----SMH

I so wish I had a clothes line here--I really miss mine.

Sunny--so you are getting what we call an "Indian Summer". Enjoy it....Trust me, winter will come--- rolz

Dell sent me a voce mail on my cell phone today, Sunny. Sorta made me mad. I asked them to call my home phone--and no it went straight to voice mail on my cell. and I was right here & able to answer it. I THINK they are already sending it back--which tell me 1 of 2 thigns..1) I am getting a different computer, or 2) it was no big deal to fix...

I hope they were able to fix it, Carol. Setting up new is no fun.
I banked, got Teddy to school, stopped and picked up bread and milk, Etc. Then I swung by the station and filled my tank. I'm ready for a nap already but that's not happening.

Computer stuff....UGH! I am not wanting to upgrade to that Windows 10 but I guess I need to. It keeps popping up all the time. Do you all like it?

Got to think on it. Rachel said I should.
I hate "change". I doubt if I will. Don't want to hate it then can't go back...that would be bad.

Good to see you Cindy kissie

I shut my Windows updates off...on advice from a computer guy. He said that the updates are trouble for these netbooks. Mind you either way I think no matter what, these computers are not made to last.

DH is oiling up the wood splitter....I have a full day ahead.

Good morning. I hope Carol is alright. I hope she gets well soon.
Don't work too hard on that wood splitting/stacking today, Sunny. I spent the day yesterday cleaning up the ditches and waterways around my house. And teaching my new helper how it is to go. We are expecting another flooding rain on Tuesday. I want to be ready for it. And the whole El Nino winter to follow. Wood will wait for another month.

I GOT MY LAPTOP BACK TODAY AT 1 pm. Good news is that the computer was not wiped clean. all my shortcuts & photos & such were still on the computer. YAY !!!! party

I do not mind the Windows 10. Really it took very little getting used to, Cindy. (I too hate change) Things are on the left now, like it used to be on older versions of windows. about changing back--I think that I saw that Jimmy Holcomb--(remember him ??) upgraded to windows 10, did not like it & went back to whatever he had previously--so it must not be a big deal ??
me I would have no idea if it is easy to return to not or not.
I just assumed soon there would be no choice but to upgrade & right now 10 is free, so upgraded.

I am better, just not completely well is all. I have been really busy...washing clothes & such around home, going to a update meeting where my MIL lives & then back home to do some baking & such.
My sister had more hand surgery today & so must get things in order so I can go stay with her the next 2 days..(off & on).
and of course there is PT to go to. I have another evaluation tomorrow. egad
