I do not know how to insert images that I have on my computer.

I need to post them to explain the problem I am having.

I have some evergreen trees (not arborvitaes but looking similar) which I am not sure what they are.
I noticed one tree recently does not feel too good.
The foliage seems to be somewhat withering and lots of browning.
I also noticed some whitish nodules at the very ends of "needles". I found those on other trees also but this one has lots of them whereas others have much less. I wonder if the two are connected and if it is a parasite of some sort.

If I can post photos it will explain what we are talking about.

Best,

Mike.

These are the photos.

General looks of the trees, blowups of branches, a sick tree, nodules on it, a small branch with a nodule and a macro of the nodule.

It is the Leyland Cypress.
