Good morning.

I do hope Carol going to be o.k. I never slept half the night worrying about her.

Good morning. I was up in the night as well. Thinking of her. She still has my ongoing prayers.
I am going to get Teddy to school then shop a little. Tomorrow I take my car in for an oil change and get a general 'well baby' checkup for it. So that shapes the beginning of my week. I hope everyone has a good day.

I can barely wait for bedtime in about an hour. I got a lot done today. It is hard to settle in, thinking about Carol. But I will say good night now. Sweet dreams all. Special thoughts for Carol's comfort tonight.

I know Tina..I think of her so many times. I am so thankful that Val is keeping us informed and I can't wait to see my 'flashing envelope' in the mornings again.

It is a full day of rain here...I am not even venturing to pre-school today, the weather is just too cold and Grandgirl already has a runny nose.

We did get a lot of outdoor work completed last night though.

Good morning. I will get my van in for an oil change today. That will eat up most of my morning.
Hoping that Carol had a peaceful night's rest.

I miss Carol.
I got my oil changed today. And a pressure sending unit was leaking oil so he changed that too. I drove merrily on my way. but when I picked up Teddy from school the oil light came on in my van. So Ted and I drove straight back to my mechanic and he ordered a new sending unit and ended up putting a heavier weight oil in the thing. Ted and I are just home. It has been a long day.
The nice part was I was able to take Teddy to a burger place. That was a nice diversion for him.
Now I'm gonna lay me down for a nap.

It is so sad to come in and not see Carol's posts...I picked her up a card as well.

Today will be more yardwork ahead...it is slowly coming all together. Hopefully the last of the snow in the yard shall be gone in a day or two thumbup

Sunflowers when is your last frost free date for planting? Ours is usually May 31..

It kind of haunts me of carol.. Remember she was posting last week or so, her man is good an healthy but she wonders who will help her when she needs it???????
OMG Now she finds out quick.
It sort of stunned me when I read that.

I sent her a card today.. I know she will appreciate that.
Its too cold to work outside an little drizzle .. so I went for groceries an messed around town.

Tina I have a friend across from ROnald Reagans library and she is only allowed so much water........She plants the alleys in posies .

Another neighbor loves calif.. Up in the nursing world.

I love California, too. I live inland from the Reagan Library about 95 miles east. I have a well and am on no water restrictions except what I have done for myself for conservation. I was born here and have seen several droughts. This is the worst one in my life time.
I miss Carol too. But I figure with her surgery, she is not up to computer time yet. I hope to hear from her soon.

Then you are lucky, with a well.. She is rather far out from town there..Something like 50 miles to the doctors.

I am guessing your closer to town an schools an stores.

I watched the caravan when Reagan got buried there, an it seemed like a long long ways.
Guess it was.

l liked Ronnie.

heart
I think it will be about 4 days before she is clear in her mind, after surgery.. Guessing she will be online.. In the mean time you can answer the calls here..LOL

The only thing moderators really can do other than normal members is move troublesome threads/users, and the backend software handles a vast majority of them on its own using a feature I wrote for the forum software several years ago (which checks against a 3rd party database during registration and during login; this database is huge and is updated live based on submissions from various sources, hence why we only see the occasional spammer and it's usually a normal human being versus bots).

Any user can click the "Notify" button on any offending posts, which are sent directly to my email, to be looked at (these notices are sent to all site staff).

Remember when we used to get a rash of spammers. Sometimes it was funny but mostly just annoying.

We've gone from cold to blazing hot. No in between this year.

We've gone from cold to hot, too. But back to cold tomorrow through Friday. Very rare here with snow in the mountains.
I'm gonna get ready for bed and snuggle in. Sweet dreams all.

That's actually what encouraged me to write the modification for the forum software, was how much spam the old forum used to get; I figured it would lessen the load on everyone. It worked out so well in fact that they made it a stock feature in the forum software, before I started actually writing coding for it directly.

I remember those spammer days...sometimes we were really hit hard.

Dodge, we cover our gardens with old sheets if need be...the last two years though our frost ended in June.

They are forecasting a week of sun grin

Good morning. A solid week of sun will be lovely for you, Sunny.
And I am glad to have rain rolling in. It is going to be earlier than they said.
I will go out this morning and grab a couple of things And come home and hunker down.

Yeah, we fixed a bunch of bugs with the last release; the one coming in about a month or so does a ton more, such as a lot of cleanup for users on their cellphones or tablets since that's a huge thing now adays.

I sign in each time but that's because I sign out. :) My phone screen is too small to try and forum stuff. I need to upgrade but I don't want to have to put all my photo in the cloud or onto the computer. I like having them on my phone. You'd think with everything techno now that some whiz could figure out how to send my photos from my old phone to a new one.

You ladies with smaller phones, if you'd like to take a look at how the new forum upgrade will handle your devices (keep in mind, it's only a month out or so, at least till a beta is stable enough to run here) you can try loading www.ubbdev.com on your phone (it's my modification community for the forum software, and where we roll out all of our tests); any feedback you have would be greatly appreciated (especially since it's what'll be here soon lol) :).
