Good morning. Thank for the new CH, Sunny.
I am so sorry your grandchild is sick again. Did she at least wait until after the party yesterday? I hope it is a short lived thing.
It's Sunday. Time for clean bedding and to get ready for school tomorrow. I like the routine of the day. I like spending the extra time on my boy.
I will make mac n cheese for dinner.

I'm Baack !!!
We had a great time. Henry (the birthday boy) thought his own Birthday cake was just tops !!! he sure ate more than we thought he would. he also cried a LOT when his mom took his baseball cake away.
If I can see how to load photos to my laptop & will share photos of him.

Sunny sorry that GG is feel poorly once again...school is ever so fun it seems. My great-nieces are sick about half the time it seems. Mostly from the sick children in their classrooms. It would be ever so good if parents would keep their ill children home. While I know that sometime little ones get sick after they are at school, it has been my experience that some kids get sent to school ill as school is the "babysitter" of record.
Sheri:
When Dante was living, Pets mart would not "do" him. It seems he let his displeasure show. LOL. I find this odd, as he was the sweetest 'puppy' ever.

Yes he did..
Then he was so tired, that when he went to bed he slept for 12 hours. When morning nap time came, instead of sleeping for 30 minutes, as he usually does he slept for 90 minutes. He would have slept longer but his Daddy woke him up. he was one wore out little guy.

I am going to pack Rod's lunch (I do that at night) then I will soon be off to bed.

G'nite to everyone. wavy

Good morning all.

I am so glad that everything went well Junie, pics would be lovely to see.

Tina, a new week of adventure ahead once again...hoping you get some rain soon.

Sheri, you are lucky..there is no place around here to get your animals scrubbed anymore.

Dodge, the mother of GG is sitting home due for another in 3 months. touched

The sun is shining, calling for some snow tonight followed by a few days of rain....can't wait to get out in the dirt.

Good Morning ! I slept for 7 & 1/2 hours last night. I should do that more often.

Today it will be washing clothes & perhaps delivering some photos of Henry to my family that did not make the party. Tonight I will go watch Luke as his Momma had a doTerra party tonight. (she is selling to now to get her away from the house so she says. I have to wonder why she is hosting this party. Perhaps that is how they begin??

yes, I would agree. But Gracious, I do like feeling better. If BenGay did not smell so bad I would try using it instead.

She said that she needed something to "do" to get out now that she was a stay-at-home Mom..& this got her out. I do so hope that she has friends who can afford such as that. She will have me as a sometimes customer only because I have trouble finding essential oils for such as my foot soak.

AND they "say" that the lemon one is food safe &I like lemon flavoring in my iced tea..I will see tonight.

All essential oils are pricey. I too, keep some around. But only a few that I can use medicinally. I am lucky in that I have a lemon tree that gifts me all year with fruit. I peel them and use the peels in cleaning and flavoring compounds. Critters hate it. I have a bunch of peels drying up in a 5# bag of epsom salts right now. Some in a bottle of vodka. And a whole bunch of both lemon and orange peels in a gallon jug of vinegar. Instead of drops of lemon oil, I just use the peel. It takes longer but I have plenty of time.
I have dinner in the crock and Teddy is home for the day. I think I'll take a nap.

I am home from Watching Luke. He was a very good boy, and he was a joy to be around. The only down side is that I am now wide awake. I think some popcorn is in order. I'll see you all tomorrow. G'nite. wavy

Good morning, I am watching some snow fall....not much they say but the next 6 days of rain that is forecast will be a welcome sight to rid more of the snow.

Essential oils are a great way to go...and the fact that it only takes a few drops will mean that even if you can only buy once and again you will slowly add to your collection Junie thumbup

I am jealous of Tina's lemon trees..that would be an awesome thing to have. I hope your kids are learning from your resourcefulness.

Not sure if we will attend pre-school today...GG is still feeling under the weather and DH has a 'man cold' to top it all off.

Good morning. So sorry about the snow, Sunny. But happy for your rain. I hope it is just enough to melt without flooding. And two sick people in your house. I hope you can avoid it.
We are to have wet weather the next few days. Not wet enough to make a difference in the drought but maybe do a little local watering.
I have one lemon tree. It produces pretty much all year long with a slow down in August. I love it. I am learning how to use the various plants grown in my yard for more than just shade. It is interesting stuff. But I'm not becoming an expert or anything.

Thanks, Sunny...I will probably build up my stores slowly as you say. I hope the sickness leaves your house soon & that I t takes ALL of the snow with it. winky

Tina: I hope that you get more rain than they predict and that you learn a lot more about the plants in yoiur yard. sounds like a fun & useful project.

I must get going, but I just wanted to stop by to say "hi" to you all.

Happy Tuesday !!!

I am so glad you got to ceramics today.
Today was nothing spectacular. The usual cleaning around the house a little. And I saw a bob cat in my back yard. That happens a few times a year and is always exciting.
Tomorrow I have to go out and shop after I drop Teddy at school. And fill my tank.

Good morning, I had routine blood work to go for.

I am home and getting ready to run some more....GG needs to go to pre-school again today. I can't wait for the middle of June when this running everyday is done with.

That is cool about the bobcat Tina, scary but exciting at the same time.

I am home. We went to the bank this morning to deposit a check. Teddy went off to school. Then I stopped at the grocery store (for the first time this week). And whipped around to the gas station on my way home ( $3.05). All the groceries are put away. I will putter around here doing things for an hour or two then go out to a store that is not open early in the morning before picking Ted up again.
I tired already.

Gracious ladies, you make me tired just reading about all that you are doing. winky

My blood work is not due until May 13th.

I slept until 9:30 this morning. I do not usually do that.

After lunch I think I will go out & plant my onion sets & my lettuce. I really need to put out mu basil plant, but it is way to early. I guess I should not have bought it yet. But it was at such a good price.

Oh, I am sure it makes you tired, Tina. I just thought to acknowledge that I noticed that the 2 of you are working hard.

Today, I planted my onion sets, spinach, and a lettuce mix. It is good to feel like I finally got something accomplished outside.

My father in law died tonight. Johnny found him dead sitting in his chair. Looked like he had a peaceful death.

Good second morning. I don't need to shop for anything today so it will be a quick trip to school. Then home to cook up mini meatloaves. It is good to have some cool weather to use the oven. I don't use it during the heat of summer. So I like to cook ahead for those months of heat.

Good Morning!

Sheri: I am ever so sorry at your loss. My sympathies, thoughts & prayers go out to Johnny & your whole family.

I think I am going to put a turkey breast in the oven this afternoon.......Perhaps with some sage & bacon on it.

I must make myself get dressed & leave the house today to do errands. I wish everyone a good day.

My sympathy on the loss of your father in law..

That is how we found my nephew a year after hubby died.. He was sitting in his easy chair watching tv remote in his hand, and a heater in front of him....

It was no small wonder that the house didn't catch fire, cause he was dead several days till I found him in the chair????
Horrible memories here.

My day has changed. Came home and washed up the few dishes that accumulated since last night. And got wet feet. A trap under my sink sprung a leak. I will be in repair mode today with a side trip to home depot.
