Good morning ladies.

I thought it would be storming, but it is not--YAY.

I have errands so once I hear a weather report, I guess I will get to doing that. Thankfully it is 46*F outside.

I mostly get 7-8 hours every night. Sometimes it is broken up a little. Even though it is a school vacation and I don't need to be up at 5:30 am but try anyway. I don't like to foul up a schedule that works.
That being said, I'm off to get ready to bed down now. Sweet dreams all.

I usually get 6 or 7 a night. Once in awhile less.

I am going to sleep now. It is raining & that always "sings" me to sleep.
Sweet Dreams, Tina & everyone else.

Good Morning--I guess. I have been up since 4:45 a.m. There should be a law that prohibits such behavior if one does not have to get up for work or school or something.

Good morning. I didn't sleep as well as I spoke. Teddy had some sickness issues in the night. He has been asleep for hours so I am hoping those are over now. I'm going to take it very easy today. I had planned on a trip out to get new shoes but that will wait a bit.

Good morning all.

Made my monthly Walmart run yesterday and once again my engine light is on....maybe my car is trying to tell me to stay away from there.

Just ignore the engine light. Mine does it too.....
Oxygen sensor is all it is. I had Advance auto check mine an that is the story they told me.

No vehicle is without the goofy stuff.
Even my stupid dryer has bells an wishtles to it ......Stupid stuff we don't need.

My husbands check engine light has been on for awhile now. He had it checked of course, but his is nothing to worry about either. His has to do with emissions I think. Luckily in IL we do not have to abide by those rules.....YET. BUT yes we too have had trouble with the sensors, Dodge...you would like to think that IF they put these things in cars, they would work right, wouldn't you.
Glad you got your shopping done, Sunny. That is a good feeling, I know.

Tina, I hope that Teddy is better when he wakes. and that he did not "share" with you.

Barb: I do not even use the buzzer on my dryer.....you are right--some of that stuff we do not even need.
Although it was cute when my youngest would hear the dryer buzzer go off & say :Mommy, your dryer is calling you. I miss that.

Teddy is much better today. My kids loved the ATC's too. We had the three wheelers and enjoyed them a lot. As soon as Jonni's little legs could reach the gears she was riding alone. She was about eight. And we bolted a car seat on the back and Teddy could ride too. Good times.
I'm getting some things done around here. But I am taking it slowly.

I hATE THIS COMPUTER..once again I had a whole post, went to make a capitol letter & oops all of my post disappeared.

Never mind what it all said...I am not going to type it again.

as a side note:

I used to be proud that I raised such independent children...now I am sad they are not around much. I guess I should not want it both ways, huh ??

yes, Tina, you are a good Mom.

I will have both girls and their families home next weekend.
My oldest will be home all weekend, & my youngest will come here on Sunday (Easter).
I do see them, just not as much as I would like is all. (I guess I am a greedy Mom.)

THIS weekend, my oldest DD is coming home & spending the weekend with my youngest DD.
The 2 will color Easter eggs with their 2 girl cousins.
This year it is going to be held at my youngest's house.
They have done this since well before my youngest (who will be 29 in April) was a teen.
I remember thinking how nice it was of the older girls (born in '75-'77-& '80) to invite Emily (born in '86) along on their outings.
Pre-husbands & children, they all used to go on vacation together in the summer as well.....now they just go somewhere that they can accomplish in one day...but hey, they still go...

junie, I love dying Easter eggs. Colt won't be here for Easter so I might go to Shelley's when the they dye theirs. I like hiding them too. When Darbi was little we hid eggs all year long.

Pouring rain here today. AGAIN. And tonight it's supposed to be 26°. From 70 - 26 in the same week.

I will trade any of you some of my warm weather for some of your rain. It's going to be near 90* today.
I see my post from this morning didn't take. I probably left before it completed. Or maybe it's time to clean up my computer.
I have no big plans for my day. I'm trying to figure out dinner for tonight. nothing appeals at this time. I have cleaned one bathroom floor and have those rugs in the wash. Taking a lunch break.

That disappearing post thing happens to me a lot, Tina. why

Dinner: To avoid going out to buy fish for dinner, I dug around in my freezer & found the last of some frozen fish fillets & some French fries. I will bake those with a piece of salmon for me. Cheaper, & I do not have to get cleaned up to go out. thumbup

I am looking for dishes to have for my Easter meal. Any ideas ?? (no ham please)

The man came this week and turned over the garden and Johnny brought home straw bales for the squash. No idea when I'll be able to do anything with any of it because it's so wet and now cold. Last year I planted early so this year will be late. Guess it evens out. I haven't even started seeds. Maybe next week.

I have never tasted lamb. I've thought about buying it but it's so expensive I hate to buy and end up not liking it.

So, no, no lamb recipes please.

Sheri: what all could I plant in a bale of straw...my ground is so low, it will be months before I can even consider planting....well I do have 2 planters that I use.
