Good morning. I feel really good this morning. I wonder why? But that means it's a good day to get something done.
That is a good plan, Sunny.

Morning ,

I spent yesterday mostly resting .. think I over did the last couple days and head to pay for it ... but feel better this morning... good thing had to empty undersink cupboard and move island over so new dishwasher could be installed... Yay.. no more dishpan hands for hubby...LOL!

Had a nice visit with my sil on Wed evening... took her over to Carrie's too so she could see boys and her hubby... she says my MIL is doing much better in the nursing home- quit making escape plans anyway... she was telling everyone who visited to meet her behind fence in back and she would get over and they could take her home... fence is 8 ft tall and she is wheelchair bound.. funny but so sad... she has no idea of where she is but guess it goes with the dementia, my Mom was same way.. had to keep doors locked all the time and flip locks out of her reach so she couldn't open them..

We did lose Joe's Aunt yesterday- she was 100 yrs old... lived a good long life even though she only understood Spanish and was deaf most of her life ... she was a favorite of all the kids... could cook like a pro...hubby is kind of bummed he can't go down to Az for funeral but his allergies would end him up in the hospital if he did... he is having attacks here now that it's quit snowing ... spring is not a good time for him...

Well have to get myself ready for the installer to get here... have a good day all! hope you snow melts soon those of you who have it and hope the rest get the rain you need.. we need it too... but I prefer it stay in mtns right now...LOl!

Nana

Good to hear from you, Nana. Take it easy and recover from your bout. I am sorry about Joe's Tia. A hundred years is a long time.
Snow, I prefer it stay in the mountains too. But I will take any precipitation, any form.

Thanks for the condolences... we talked to Joe's cousin in Az, the funeral is being planned for the 26th, even if he wasn't allergic to everything blooming down there now he has a doc apt that day and had it put of twice while we were all sick... so don't want to do that again... We will send flowers ,and most of the AZ family will be there so that will be a lot there....

I don't feel to bad today finally- woke up with sciatica this morning but did my stretching exercises and that helped some.. did get new dishwasher installed- and tried it out-works really well... and has a child lock on it too, that will help my problem with the twins when they are here and like to push buttons- don't know how many times they have stopped it in midcycle and I hadn't noticed...

Well off to makes some dinner - will be simple don't want to be on my feet to much yet...

Nana

100 years old. That's something. Sorry you can't go to the funeral.

A lady in my book club is 99 years and has had breast cancer for the last 6 years of her life, which she isn't treating. She's a walking history book.

Yes Sheri, Tia Queta was a special person... some how she understood us speaking English to her and would reply in Spanish... always had to have someone around to translate but she was a sweet lady... loved being around all the cousins(all our kids) . Joe's Mom her sister is 98, another sister is 91 and the last one is about 95... I wish we could go too but have to help the kids with their homeschooling and Joe has to have his doc appt... it's been put off to long already.. Your book club friend is a walking miracle... I have a cousin who is too but she is treating hers over and over... never goes away for very long but she is still fighing...

I have been doing my exercises for this sciatica but getting worse... will sleep with motrin and a heating pad tonit... got things to do and babying it isn't in my plans...sure hope it works to make the pain stop..

Kids start spring break this next week... but we will play catch up on the school work.. Derek is almost done just has a little to finish for this year and Nicoli is behind due to being so sick but he will catch up fast if we all work with him. we do want to do something fun with them... depends on our crazy weather and their health too..

Well I am heading to bed soon...so goodnight all have a good night..

Nana

Good morning. Let's see if this one sticks. I plan on cooking for the next few days ahead today. And polishing off my laundry. I may get outside and get something done as well. That is my plan anyway. We'll see how it goes.

A blizzard is a good thing to cook through, Sunny. With me it is few days of 'cool' weather left. We are to be in the 90's by the end of the week. I am not as fond of cooking when it gets hot. I'd rather reheat. Today I'm making mini meatloaves.
