Good morning. I thought I had posted in here earlier. How odd. Well, it ended up wherever lost posts go. And I don.t remember what I said. Keep warm all that are in the path of this freeze.

Good Morning ...

The weather is already changing here- only 33* right now and that is the high for today... quite a change from yesterday's 74* ...

Carrie seems to be a whole lot better with the procedure this time... working the way it is supposed too.. she will be off at least 2 more weeks to makes sure it works properly this time... she just looks better already - has her color back...

Well I am off to get ready to go grocery shopping.. really need to get restocked before it gets to cold and wet to go out... so have a good day all....

I lose posts all.the.time too ladies. I don't know where they go, or why, but go they do... why

Nana: I am so glad to hear that Carrie is doing better. I hope the trend continues.

It is in the low teens here today. It is predicted that we are to get 3 to 6 inches of snow beginning tonight. I am ready provision-wise if we DO get that much snow, but I sure hope "they" are wrong about that forecast.

Today I am finally getting back to the embroidered blanket that I had begun a year ago for my middle Grandson. fidget

Tina, I guess we have a 'lost post' thing in common lol

I am so glad Carrie is doing better.

Junie, you better finish that blanket before #4 is in the works grin

It is cold here also and storming...we are supposed to get another 12 to 14 inches. This Winter seems to be never ending.

I HATE THIS LAPTOP !!!!!! about every time I hit the shift key to make a capital letter, my whole post is magically deleted. That NEVER happened with the desktop.

Ok Thanks for the well wishes (I will take what I can get, even though I am certain Tina was referring to people with REAL snow problems)

Sunny, of course you are right. When I finish this quilt, I need to begin a new one that has a neutral theme for "if & when" a 4th grandchild comes along.

The temperature outside is 18*F. It is cloudy, overcast & cold. The birds are eating like there is no tomorrow. I am afraid we ARE going to get the heavy snowfall that is predicted. I wish my DH did not have to go to work tomorrow.

it has just began to snow a small bit.

It is 74* out right now. But our heat wave is about over. We are only to be in the mid 60's to 70* tomorrow. But I wish for rain and snow.

I miss snow; it just doesn't do that in the Willamette Valley here in Oregon... If I want to see snow I have to drive to Mt Hood or any number of other mountains around here in the winter.

I think we got a snow day here for nothing that stuck this last year, because of a threat of black ice, but that's about it for winter weather in the valley :(.

Well it is snowing now and we have a couple inches out there now- we went ahead and grocery shopped today just in case tomorrow is really bad- supposed to be really cold...

Thanks for the good wishes for Carrie- she isn't having such a good day today after all. think she felt so much better she over did it ... it hurts her to sit- so she has to lay down a lot so feels like she is only being lazy... not lazy I told her just taking care of herself- she has a tube inside her after all that probably isn't exactly as flexible as it should be for where it is - of course it is going to hurt... hope she listened and took a pain pill and rested...since it looks like I have the next couple weeks off of boy duty most of the time I am going to start scanning pictures and putting them on cds... I have meant to get that done for yrs now- so with my office clean and tax stuff ready I can do it without to much else to get in the way..

I made chicken fried steak and gravy with rice for dinner- I am so full ! Joe was going to bbq burgers but it was snowing really hard so I cooked...

Our water heater is acting up now... keeps shutting itself off like it's getting overheated... had it fixed once already so Joe says we may just need a new one now... would love to get a tankless one but don't see that in the cards right now... oh well... have to pay off the truck fix bill and then get estimates of redoing upstairs bath ... that has to get done this yr too...

Have a good evening all... !

Nana

It's always something with a house, Nana. I have an on-demand hot water heater.
I love it. I hope Carrie finds relief soon.

OH Gracious, Poor Carrie..I was so hoping she had found some relief. Continued prayers to her from me.

Snowing here now, but at least I can still see where my porch ends & the ground begins. Sometimes I wish snow were not so pretty, so I could be more upset when it snowed.

Good morning...I am thinking about sending James some snow, he can have the 14 inches that fell last night lol

It is nasty out there...all schools are cancelled again. At this rate the kids will have to go all Summer to catch up.

Tina, what kind of hot water system do you have? We have had to replace our water heater...now we just rent it from the power company. It is added on to our power bill and all work and replacement is free.

Good morning. Send some snow my way, while you're sharing. Please.
I have an Aquastar water heater. Mine happens to run on propane but they can be purchased for gas or electricity, I think. I do love it.
Today is getting ready for school day for me. It will be the usual grooming and such.
I hope everyone has a great day.

Golly--14 "more" inches of snow. I feel like a complainer saying we got between 6 & 9 inches, and it is still snowing.
Good news is so far it is like powder, at least it is on MY yard....Poor Junco's...when they "try" to sit on the deck railing, the snow is taller than they are.

I am glad that I filled up the bird feeder last night.

I am making chili for supper tonight...I am hoping that that warms us some.

It is still snowing here, but not as heavy.

2 young boys came by just now and offered to clean off my driveway for $20.00. That is not a lot of money, but that was their price and it is powdery, so I said that is a deal. I think a tip is in order...

Well in that case I won't complain about he 7 inches of snow we got so far either... it's the wet heavy kind so it's what we need but boy it's a workout to shovel it... not that we are doing that till it stops... at least it's getting lighter outside now... was really dark earlier today.. Though our dish must be covered in snow cause I just lost my connection... to bad it has to be on the highest part of our roof or we could get to it to clear off the snow...

Haven't heard from Carrie yet today so hope it's a better day for her- going to be a long time till she can get that stent out at this rate... that won't happen for at least a week or so..

I am going to cook the burgers tonit on the George Forman grill.. that will be our dinner with a salad and maybe a baked tater to go with....

Well guess with no tv I will think of something else to do....

Have a good day all!

I am half way done with my day. Dinner is in the crockpot. I have trimmed nails and used lotion on the itchy spots on Teddy. I only do that once a week or so because he hates to be greasy. Bath time is next, so we can de-grease. thumbup

James, be careful what you ask for. I just got in from shoveling out my windows...I can now walk up on my roof from the back of the house.

I have bread baking in the oven..not much else to do but cook and bake on these days.

Good morning.

lol yup, I'll get to those leaves in the gutters later today.

The power company has started to cut down large trees on either side of wires this past year...we can tell the difference it has made. We would have had a lot of days without power otherwise.

The winds yesterday were crazy...it is nice to wake up to a calm day. Freezing but calm. I'll take it.

Happy Shrove Tuesday to all who follow. Eat lots grin
