Yes, I'll be rooting for the Seahawks as well. And the commercials.
I hope you stay away from the baked goods, Sunny. If that is what you need.
Get some rest, Carole. Naps are shorter than they appear.

Well I don't do much for Superbowl and this Sunday who knows what we will be doing... so far Nicoli is still in hospital - a whole group of neuro docs saw Nicoli and have no idea what to do for him... hope one of them at least does something... he is one miserable little boy right now... we are waiting right now to hear when Carrie wants us to bring stuff for Jon and go see Nicoli - he is asking for us... my oldest is going to come and stay with Timothy while we go .. Derek is going to Kids Night Out with his friend tonit so that will use up some of the extra energy he seems to have- they hold it at the Ridge - they have a pool and all sorts of stuff for kids to do...

Well I just need to feed them before we go to hospital, Carrie has to come home tonit cause she will have to work tomorrow morning , we will bring her back with us when we do go... just wish and hope they come up with some kind of treatment that works for him... the docs seem to feel that since he isn't crying the pain isn't as bad as he says it is... carrie told them he has been in pain for 10 days.. after awhile he just tolerates it and then it gets really bad and then he cries and it is to late for meds to work... he has a high tolerance built up and they don't believe a 9 yr old can do that... she said a 9 yr old who has been doing this for almost 3 years can and does.. it's very frustrating to us all knowing more about this than the so called experts do...

Have a good eveing all!

Sending prayers Nana...Is there a children's hospital that he can be taken to?

Our storm ended up being a nasty one, over 16 inches with heavy winds...I cleaned the driveway last night and it is full again from the drifting snow. Now we are under an extreme wind chill warning....that Groundhog better predict an early spring tomorrow.

Good Morning almost afternoon......

Well this tiredness finally caught up to all of us.. I was first one up this morning at 9:38... guess we need it and breakfast will double as lunch I guess.. these boys are eating me out of house and home! good thing tomorrow is payday... LOL!

Sunny Nicoli is in Children't hospital ... we are lucky that one in in Denver- next closest is 1000 miles away... but the team of neuro's that saw him haven't come up with a treatment plan yet- hopefully they are researching this and will soon.. Daddy stayed the night with him last night as Carrie had to go to work early this morning , we took some supplies for him and clean clothes for Jon last night, first thing Nicoli wanted was for me to tickle his back .. so did that most of time I was there... he started feeling better and actually wanted to take a shower as we had to leave so hope it relaxed him some... said his pain level was going down too... and all he had had was Tylenol... hopefully this is the end of this cycle and we can figure out how to keep it from coming back any time soon... Derek had a good time at his Kid's night out and Timba got Aunt Teresa to make him tuna noodles for dinner here... his favorite food in all time.... he must of liked it cause there is like half a cup of it leftover....LOL!

Well off to get airbeds and bedding put up... got to strip my bed and wash it too sometime today... and boys clothes that are here and towels... figure out what I have that will feed these boys tonit too.

Nana

I was going to offer to trade her...a contrary 4 yr old for a 2 yr old that does not stop.

But Now I have a better idea.....Sunny can stop here & pick up Luke on her way to take her little one to your house. You can take them both to Disneyland. angel

I really don't take any one under three to D-land. They are too young to enjoy it. But I have not been myself for years. Arthritis in my feet and knees precludes it.
I need to get myself in the shower and go to bed. Sweet dreams, all.

Sweetheart, I was no more serious than you were, I knew that. I DO so wish that you were able to go to DL though, what with you being so close & all.

I will be going to bed soon. g'nite

OMG Tina...you'd be her new favorite person. She sees the commercials and asks when we can go. Every few years they have a bus trip that goes...it might be a dream that can be possible one day. If so, Tina you better meet us there grin

Grandgirl has the attitude of a 13 yr old...I know a lot is from the back and forth and things she has gone through. It is hard to deal with though because when she has her mind set on something, there is absolutely no changing her mind.

The winds here have caused such a mess, they have closed down roads because the plows can't break through the snow drifts....and there is another storm tonight. We can thank our good old government for laying off have the men, taking away most of the equipment. It's quite a ruckus here...chances are we'll see it on the news.

We took each girl to Disney World (in Florida, Sunny) when they were each 9.
We thought that way they were old enough for it to not be such a chore for us, and yet they were young enough to completely enjoy it. We stayed at one of the places that had a tram to & from the parks so that Rod did not have to fight the traffic. It was well worth it. Plus if you look around, you can find deals, so it is a bit less costly.

Emily is still upset (at 28+) that we did not take her to Blizzard Beach, which, while located in the same area, is NOT part of the Disney experience. rolz egad

I am going to help Emily today with Luke.

Be safe! Roofs aren't meant to be walked on, and professionals generally have workboots that grip the rough shingles better than the normal shoes that most people have.

The roof I have to climb on is near flat. And most of it is 3/4 inch plywood over two foot beams. It won't break easily. The only place it is less is the small add on to the deck. MDF or something. And I am very careful with that.
My problem is sitting down. If I sit on the roof, I cannot get up again. It is amusing. Annoying but funnier than all get out.

Tina I am glad that you explained the roof situation. It still sounds scary, but thanks for explaining how it is pitched.

I spent the afternoon with my Grandson. I am now wore out and as a side note, I have a sore throat.

Good morning.

Tina, maybe it is time to get your oldest son to clean your chimney for you. We clean ours here once a month...pipes as well.

It is cold and snowy and I am tired of Winter...yes, I'm complaining again lol

Go ahead and complain, Sunny. No one deserves it more.
Good morning. When my son is here, I have much harder work for hem to do, Sunny. I do try to get to the stack about once a month when I am using it regularly. We have had mild weather and I have not burned regularly in it.
Today I am going to do something towards cleaning my house.

Oh my would someone come clean up my house too...... I am plumb worn out... went to bad tired and woke up tired too....
Carrie is still hurting - not all the time but stone is stuck or something and just won't move out... she is exhausted too... Nicoli is just worn out too... I am sure school is going to give her a hard time about his absence, even with notes from docs saying these attacks just wear him out and 3 days in hospital just made him more tired, even though he did his makeup work in between when the pain subsided for a while- right now he is sleeping off all pain meds I think , he had had a lot of meds pumped into him in the last week or so...she called on line school and if they will approve him again he will finish out the school yr with that... we don't have energy to fight school system too.

Joe has to take his old truck in tonit - it needs a new exhaust system,,, has to get done this month so we can get it registered.. and emissioned... been putting it off with what has been going on...

Well I have a couple Cornish hens defrosted and I need to get them in a crockpot to cook with some veggies for our dinner... will turn leftovers into chicken soup ... got laundry to do too... did finally get beds done last night... I just want a couple days to rest and not have to worry about anything but guess that isn't the plan for now.......

She sneezed a lot today..but several doses of Airborne later I am doing much much better...my issues must be allergies.
