How many are you feeding, Sheri? A rib roast is a Christmas favorite for people tired of turkey or ham. But I love Sunny's lasagna idea. Easy to put together and use throw away pans. No pans to scrub.

We had lasagna 2 years ago. Problem is the children won't eat it. Roast was last year. 8 adults and 4 children. Appreciate the thoughts though.

How about a cold plate lunch...pasta and potato salads with deli meats?

I wish DH ate Chinese food..I'd make garlic ribs, sweet and sour chicken, rice, eggrolls and a stirfry as the meal.

1) You could always go Italian.

WE do this every year for the Dudley Thanksfiving.

This year we had lasagna, garlic bread sticks, salad, dessert & appetizers.

2) and there is a pork roast grilled on a rack, mashed potatoes & gravy, chunky applesauce (warm or cold) and whatever veggie you want.

Sunflower, let's me and you eat together.!

Last night I cooked us filet mignons ala Pioneer Woman and they turned out well. At this moment in time that's what I'm cooking for the men. It's easy and uses 1 pan. Shelley came by today and said she wants green beans and salad and that her children will only eat green beans and rolls so that does it. Ginger called and said not to fix mashed potatoes because she's not eating potatoes if she can help it.

I'll fix steaks for the men and they can eat green beans, salad and rolls.

The rest of us will eat salad, green beans, and rolls.

I'll probably do mac and cheese for Colt and the men can eat that if they want. Shelley's children won't.

Colby and I will make brownies for desert after they get here. Even if the women won't eat them Colby and Tracy will.

That sounds like a plan.
