After drying regular garden vegetable and flower seeds, what is the best packaging to store them in, paper, plastic, pill bottles? I want to pack them so they will last and last. Thank you, hope you are all keeping well.

I prefer paper, even in the desert here. If there is the least bit of moisture left in them, then seeds in a plastic baggie will mold and mildew. I fold them up into paper envelops from junk mail and tuck them into a shoebox.

Yep, I use paper envelopes as well. I should learn to save junk mail envelopes like Tina. I "have" put seeds in zip-lock baggies, but like Tina said, you would run the risk of them molding, etc.

A plus with using envelopes is you can write on them much more easily so as label/date each type of seed.

I bought tiny paper bags that I just tape at the top after putting in seeds. I have friends who use those tiny plastic zip locks. I get those sometimes with buttons in them when I buy a new blouse.

I would suggest if you do use the plastic bags, to make sure the seeds are very very dry.
