I sent you a PM (private message) Annie.
I too need to do some work on my flower & veggie beds. I have been so busy of late that my outside work has suffered. I am hoping to hit it next week. It sounds as if you are doing a great job though. Good for you.

Sunny. glad that the sun is coming your way---disapearing snow is a great thing. I hope it is gone for you soon. Then you can move on to the planting season. thumbup

Tina: Good Morning to you.

Nana Your welcome. I figure we are all here to help one another. That is how it all works. shewinks

This is my month to clean church so that and eating lunch with my MIL is what is on my to-do list today.

Sunny here as well--catch you all later wavy

Morning...

I should be getting ready for boys today but I woke up all stuffed up.. and feel kind of woozy... gonna rain today . but so far sun it out .... I have to use up my almost expired milk and make the French toast for the boys...

Happy Birthday Annie... one of my grands has his birthday Thursday... he is turning 13 this year...
as far as empty nest ... well since we watch the boys most of the time- it isn't to empty ... just about the first time we have no one else living with us...been married 37 yrs and always had kids or inlaws, kids moving back home and now grands... house does feel bigger when the boys go home..

Well off to get my shower and get to cooking breakfast...have a good day all!

Thanks Tina, think it's the quick weather change we are in the midst of... head still feels weird... they are having hail storms up north of us and it looks like it could rain here any minute...getting chillier by the minute...

We ended up with boys here today thought I would have to stay with Nicoli- he didn't want to get up but finally did... when he sleeps like that it usually means he is going to have an attack again,,, sure hope not... he is sure a grumpy George at the moment though so think he will cycle again... he had a doc apt yesterday and they now think he has CVS with the complication of the abdominal migraines .. he gastro doc is contacting all sorts of other docs to see if anyone can come up with a way to treat him that may work...

Derek went to school today which was good.. half days are better than none and he is doing better,

Well off to go clean some more...

Have a good day all!

Nana

I had to go read up on CVS. Google kept wanting to send me to a drugstore. But I finally found it. I hope they can find the right meds to help Nicoli that will really help.

We hope they can find the right combination of meds for him too.. the gastro doc thinks it may have something to do with his gall bladder not working properly but doesn't want to do more invasive tests on him yet.. kid has had so many tests... and diff meds... carrie had to turn in 8 bottles of stuff he can't take or doesn't work for him to the store pharmacist the other day for disposal.. was running out of room in her meds cupboard...

Well I am heading up to take a hot bath- hoping to fix my achy muscles,, Joe is making spaghetti for dinner for us...
and I just may head for my bed after...

Good Morning everyone,

I had trouble getting in her earlier too but fixed now... did my fresh stuff grocery shopping and got the cash for Timba's birthday- he is officially a teen today.... doesn't seem possible... they grown up so fast....

We will have an indoor bbq on Sun for the birthday boy and Mother's day... supposed to be chilly and rainy ... but will have fun anyway... the night before the 2 younger ones are spending night here to be out of the way of the bigger boys , Timba is having a sleep over with 4 boys so having the younger ones out of way is probably a good idea...

We got a little rain and a t-storm last night but didn't last very long... did help green up the grass though...

Well off to finish up what I can before we get boys for the afternoon... still feel like I am not quite right yet but think it's the daily weather changes.... that and I am hungry ... must be close to lunch time....LOL!

Nana

Worked my part time job today. I don't go back to work at my full time job until tomorrow. Had to get my tires checked, there was a nail. Fixed for free, thank goodness. Got the dishes done, showered, and now I'm relaxing.

Good morning all.

I made a drop off as well at the church yesterday of unused clothing and such. It's s great way to do a spring clean up as well as help someone.

Errands to run today with grandbaby...and the sun is supposed to shine all day.

Yes Tina, I had a great time. Luke asked to go outside & he just ran & ran in the grass, he was just so happy !!! It was fun. He took right to me, & we did all the things we usually do. One is when he is eating I sing "Bend & Stretch, reach for the stars, stand on tippy-toes oh so high". He just laughs & laughs...

I hope that you got to go back to sleep. I went to bed early (for me) last night & we DID NOT get our storms, so I had a good night's sleep.. party

Sunny, YAY for Sunshine & grandchildren !!! thumbup

Today I have to go get gas in the car, order my mom a corsage for Sunday & take her a photo of Henry. Then I will come back here & wash clothes.

Just got back from an emergency trip to my Sister's. She asked me to clean her house as she had just realized that most likley people will be coming to her house after her MIL's funeral tomorrow. She & her DH could have cleaned it, but their DD's husband just had throat surgery, had a bleed & had some extra emergency surgery done & since HE just came home, they were there. Then my BIL went to stay the night with his father as he is all disoriented since his wife's death. I was glad to help.

Funeral tomorrow, so I will be in tomorrow night when/if I can.

Sweet Dreams everyone.

Oh no, Nana. That is the pits. Snow should be gone by now from everywhere but the highest mountains.
Good morning. I also have some cleaning to do today. And some cooking towards the week ahead. I think today is the day that postal workers are collecting canned goods and I have a bunch of stuff to donate. Just need to check expiration dates.

Good Morning. breakfast

Why didnt I hear of the Postal collection--and I even went into the PO yesterday to buy stamps.

Nana Snow on Mother's day is just plain wrong..I so hope that it does not happen.

Getting ready to go to the funeral soon. DH is in a "mood". He does not care for funerals, and avoids them as much as possible. BUT this is one he cannot get out of going to.

Yes, Tina, I too wish you a wonderful Day. I hope Teddy is happy today as well.

We had thunder & rain last night---it stopped about 6am I guess. a bit ago it was getting over-cast but now it is sunny---One almost needs a scorecard to keep up with the wether these days......Rainy/stormy the next 2 days & then juist rain on wednesday---crazy...at this rate, I will never get my gardens cleaned off & planted. why

It is warming up here very nicely. I was looking at the tornado threats in the midwest and thinking of you, Carol. And of Cindy.

Thank you Tina. I did have a lovely Mother's Day. Met my mother, 2 of my sisters, and 2 of my nieces for lunch at a lovely restaurant. Hope you've had a lovely day.

Evening all,

We had a very nice Mother's Day/Timba's birthday celebration today... Carrie did good...lots of good food.. Jon bbq'd in the snow and we had tater salad, pasta salad and all the trimmings... burgers and hotdogs... and a bunch of cupcakes and icecream too... my son couldn't make it cause of the weather being so weird... but they will come next weekend...
it is all of 30* outside... supposed to be a high of 38* tomorrow with more snow coming down ..it hasn't stopped all day but so far melts as fast as it falls... no fun for us outside for sure- normal is in the 70's...

Timothy as really surprised to get the new laptop... he is a happy kid right now.... we all went in on it for him .. it's a good one and thank goodness daddy has access to all the software he will need from work..,. that stuff is expensive...

Well off to see what else I can do- I have a bunch of I tunes cards now for new reading material... will save some for the new Outlander book - love those books and it comes out next month...

Nana
