I am not sure if this is the actual name of the plant, but I have some (what I have always knows as) naked ladies hanging out in front of my house and they need to be moved (we will be putting a deck right where they are sitting) They have to be at least 7 years old if not older. I know that they have a bulb, how and when should I transplant? Have you had experience with successful transplants that still bloom?

Hi, Annie. You can move them at any time. Although you may not get blooms this year.
It is best to move amaryllis belladonna (naked ladies) after they finish blooming in late summer. But it can be done anytime really. You dig them up and move them to their new locations. It is best to leave the top of the bulb showing above ground a little. You can dig them up with the root ball intact with attached dirt (best) or clean the dirt off individual bulbs and replant.
I love naked ladies.
