Evening all,

Well got some of what I wanted done accomplished... did finish most of my kitchen stuff.. did school with Nicoli for a couple hours.. I have to sit with him so that takes a lot of time and patience on my part, he can do the work just wants me there... got started on my living room - lemon oiled the wall unit... I swear it gets bigger every time I do that.. Joe is still having allergies from H@@@ he is miserable and the meds just aren't working very well... hope he wakes up feeling better ... he went to bed already... he feels so bad..even feeling like crap he bbq some brats for our dinner... that was good for me.. cleaned up kitchen again... and now after I fold laundry I am heading to my pillows too...

Nite all... pillows are calling ...

Sweet dreams all. I concentrated most of my efforts today on the outside. I let it get out of hand while trying to spring clean indoors. And it is all a never ending circle. My arms and shoulders are achy.

Good morning all, we got about another foot of snow with this storm. Is it really spring somewhere? lol Nana was supposed to keep it all.

I left Facebook because of all the drama, I agree with Annie..this is a relaxing place to be. flwr

Rest up those arms Tina..I am so glad that you didn't have any issue with your rattler. I guess no matter where we live, we all have dangers lurking around.

Have fun with the new baby Carol.

Cheryl, did you take the new job?

I like FB because I can keep track of my girls on there--but I agree it is annoying at times.

Tina I hope you feel better today--For me, a day's rest would not be enpough for these arms though---it has been a month since I have worked on my grandson's quilt. My hands are finally feeling good. So next week I will get to finishing it.

Yes, Cheryl--and if you have not heard about the job yet--when will you find out ?? Inquiring minds wanna know-- toddy

Thanks Sunny---I intend to have a great time !!! The good part is I get to stop & see Luke on the way to The new grandson's house. Today is my DD's (Luke's mommy) 28th Birthday, & we will stop to give her her a Cake & a "money" card.

Good morning. The night's sleep eased my aching muscles and I am ready for another round today.
A cake and money is a very good gift, Carol. You will get back to the quilt and get it done when you are ready. Has Henry regulated his eating habits?
I hope you get spring very soon, Sunny. Next week we are to move on to summer temps.

Morning...

More snow on our way Sunny.... first a couple days in the 70's then more spring snow this weekend...

Have fun with your grands Carol... and Happy Birthday to your dd... enjoy your visiting..

Today will be office cleaning out again ... I have decided I need another office to store all the crap that gets put in there .. that won't happen so need to get rid of stuff or organize it better....

Well off to get my day started... been up awhile but not moving really fast today... it will get done eventually... just in time to do it all over again most likely...

Good morning! Thanks for the breakfast, Nana! There's coffee in my house again. Good thing too because I don't have enough change left to buy a cup. I ended up getting two job offers. One paid more but was health care, the other is retail in a small plastics store. I took the job at the plastics store for something different. I should start Wednesday or Thursday.

I never did an introduction. I'm Cheryl. I currently live with my brother and his girlfriend just outside of Seattle. I'm going through a divorce but have gotten over it. Just waiting for my ex to file the papers. I have three step-kids. Twin girls, 18, and a boy, 15. I no longer talk to the boy but still have a relationship with the girls. Recently went prom dress shopping with them, which was fun. I work in healthcare as a cna/med tech at an assisted living facility. Not sure there will be any gardening for me this year but we'll see. I do have a Facebook and am on there more than I should be. I've eliminated the drama there and have fun with it. I also have celiac disease and therefor must abide by a gluten free diet.

Your breakfast sounds yummy, Nana. I ruined my appetite with a cherry turnover this morning. A real turnover with real calories.
Cheryl, I have been adding more and more gluten free alternatives to my food stores here. Learning to bake and cook with coconut flour and other fun things. No real reason or drive. I just want to mix up some of the nutrition we get stuck in. Before they messed with modifying soybeans, I used to add soy flour to everything in my baking days. Now I add non GMO bean flours. There is nutrition in my brownies.

I haven't experimented with alternate flours without following a recipe. The only flour I don't like is garbonzo bean flour. Can taste it too strong in the baking.

Sweet dreams all. I will be heading to bed soon. I took my son to school and stopped to shop for the weekend needs. Then came home and did some more cleanup around outdoors. I am not as achy as I was yesterday. And I did nap a bit after getting my kid back from school. But I'm tired anyway.
I hope Carol is enjoying her grandbaby time.

The sun is not out here. Maybe later. We had a lovely rain overnight and there is still snow coming down in the mountains. No complaints from me. it is welcome.
Good morning. Wet outside means I will be mostly inside. Laundry and some cooking while it is cool.

Morning ....

I slept in today, now I am up and ready to make some breakfast... Hubby just got up and wants to go get stuff at Home Depot... have to eat first.....LOL! I need coffee too.. must have slept to much...

Sun is out here too for the moment.. supposed to get a cold front coming in to bring us snow and rain too... boys will be here this afternoon too so that will take up part of my day... got a couple stale loaves of bread to make into French toast for them... and decided I need to scrub down the hearth and bricks around my fireplace.. they are really dirty... so that will be the projects of the day....

Well off to get started... have a good day all... !

Oh, I have dirty rocks around my fireplace that need a good scrubbing. All the walls in the room too.
That won't happen today. But french toast sounds good. Should have purchased more bread when I was out yesterday.

Funny, my neighbor brought me a loaf of fresh bread this afternoon.
But tonight we will have a London broil, garlic mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. I have salads also. But it is a very good day for hot foods. Next week we are to move into the 90's.

Good afternoon. Lazy day for me. Watched a movie, knitted a little, read a little, went for a short walk. I'm incredibly bored. No running today as I'm running a 5k in the morning. See the doc on Monday and can talk about feeling boring. Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far.

Lazy day here as well. Yesterday's rain and the appearance of snow (nothing that stuck) has discouraged all of my motivation, both inside and outside the house. Today it is cold and gloomy looking. I really wish the sun would show back up. My husband is on dinner duty tonight, he is making Broccoli Chicken or as we call it Chicken-Chicken, we do not add broccoli (he doesn't eat many veggies). Tomorrow evening I am going to a musical, 'A funny thing happened on the way to the forum' my mother in law received a free ticket to the play and invited me along. Have a good evening if I don't manage to get back on here tonight.

Morning...

Woke up to clouds and dark skies... some wind.. according to weather man the rain is going to skip our area but don't always believe them.... sure looks like it could rain... hope so otherwise we will have to water.. hubby put down fertilizer on the grass yesterday...

I took out a pkg of stew meat to stick in crockpot for dinner... will make some biscuits to go with...good day for a nice warm dinner...

Well off to make some breakfast... get crock going and see what else I can find to do--- do have to sign up for our health benefits for our retirement pkg.. company is paying for most of it for 18 months so that helps a lot...

Have a good day all.... coffee is on... tea pot is hot too.... apple coffee cake too..

Good morning. Looks to be a decent day here. Stayed out too late last night and missed my 5k this morning. Working up the motivation to run on my own before going to my friends house for the day.

I hope you are having a lovely day, Cheryl.
Ted and I are ready for the school week. We are both showered and he is shaved. Have clean beds to sleep in tonight. I got lunch packing stuff sorted and ready to pack each day. The fridge is stuffed with leftovers for our enjoyment tonight. And meat is defrosting for tomorrow night's fare. Trying to think of what I may be forgetting.

Good morning.

No matter how much we do...we always seem to forget something. lol

Raining again today, I will not complain..it is snowing just an hour South of us. Not much planned for today, just the usual housework and mopping and such.

Good morning. I slept well and it is a bit warmer this morning than is has been all weekend. I think it is going to be a pretty good day.
I can have a written list in a grocery store and still walk out without something on it.

Morning all,,

I too have walked out of a grocery store when I had a list and forgotten something... usually the thing I need to make dinner that night...LOL!

Got up early and now it's time to go fix my breakfast- have boys and school work today I am sure... and another room to start on deep cleaning... hubby has to water today since he put down fertilizer and we didn't get a drop of the rain they forcasted.. dinner today will be a chicken stir fry, have some veggies from veggie tray I had for Easter that needs to be used up ..will go nicely in that... and easy for me after a day with boys...

Sun is out here but it is chilly and breezy too... supposed to be like this all week... don't know if I believe it though....LOL!

Have a good day all!

Good morning. I don't want to do anything today but I forced myself to out in a load of laundry and will force myself to shower and get ready for my appointment. Don't really want to go which tells me I need to go. As soon as I get my laundry into the dryer I will take a shower and get ready to go. Got coffee at least, so that's helping.

Cheryl I hate when that happens and it seems it's happening a lot these days. We go to Rite Aid and they never have anything in stock anymore. We most always have to wait for them to check and see if they can get it from another store.

The dog trainer came today. Andy is not happy. I've got to work with him more often.

Tina, I have been watching the news as well, praying that our forum friends are o.k. Such nasty weather that you all have to deal with.

Sheri, Our pharmacy is the same...I now travel 40 minutes to another pharmacy, at least they have my medication when I need it. They also straighten out our insurance issues within an hour.

I was wondering if Nana ever gets a day to herself? flwr

I have been doing some drywall repairs(nicks and dings)...I am not amused to see that the paint has faded so much that the touch ups with the leftover paint are a lot darker. I'll never buy Pittsburgh Paint again.

On another note: Has anyone heard how Diane is?

I had thought I posted in here this morning. Maybe I forgot to hit submit.
It is a very warm day. Just right but I could do without the wind.
I made a largish batch of goulash for dinner for today and hopefully another day or two.
