Daisy, are you using those popsicle sticks as garden markers?

Of course I do, lol, with my memory I have to mark them because if I don't, I end up planting over top of something that I already planted. It wouldn't be the first time. The p sticks rot pretty quickly, but last long enough for the rows to pop out.

Well today I noticed something on my tomatoes that I don't like, 2-3 of them have developed dried up leaves just on the edges with the rest of the leaf curled inward. Yesterday I ran a small fan a few feet away from them, hoping they would get some circulation, but if they caught a draft, would they dry up overnight? Too, I do have them in a hot window. Don't know what to do, the kitchen is my only sunny window, but man, lately the sun is so hot, even though we still have snow on the ground. Hope it's not some plant pest problem again.

Many of the wilts and blights will begin at the bottom and move upward killing the foliage; curly top starts at the top and moves down. Leaf roll or curl is caused by high heat and excessive sunlight that sucks the moisture out of the plant. The entire plant will curl up to try and reserve water. Extra watering helps, but a little shade would in effect, lower the temperature on the plant.

Thank you. Not sure if it was top or bottom curl, because my seedlngs only had their 2nd to 3rd set of branches, (not all leaves on the branch were curled, just some toward the end of the branch.) those few leaves were curled up but surprisingley the new growth is okay and free of the problem. Yesterday I threw one in the garbage and the other 3, I picked off the curled leaves only leaving the healthy leaves, but because I had removed the end leaves on the branch, the branch will probably die. The rest of my tomato plants seem okay but I don't want to say anything too soon. There are no visible pests other than the odd fruit fly (gnat)
