Since I received Diane's wonderful pitcher plant the other day, I've been doing some online research on them. I knew about a book called The Savage Garden, and also researched that for info. I came across the website of the nursery that the author, Peter D'Amato, owns in California - all carnivorous plants.

You've just gotta see his slide show - these plants and pitchers are [size:17pt]AMAZING

WOW Lynne those are truly amazing!!

Here are a couple of sites I refered to that helped me get started with my pitchers initially. They may give you info to help guide you along as well. the first two are my absolute favorite places to go,, you can google back and forth and there are many highlighted areas that are full of infor here!!

Thanks for the great links, Diane!

I bought a new hanging pot for the pitcher plant you sent me, today - all the colors - the plant, the pot, go so well in the new bathroom where I hung it by the window! I'm so excited!

Thanks so much for sharing this fun plant with me! kissie

Hi! Yes, as soon as last frost occurs they will go outside. Morning Sun only, bright light the rest of the day. I moved most of my Sarrs out already, I have one in a west window yet with a at least 2 foot tall pitcher!
