Good Mornoing.--(well I am hoping to go back to sleep soon)

Tina: Oh ok---Here I thought that had taken place already. I have trouble with Anesthesia. I have to have a special kind. or at least not the usual one. if I do then ieverything goes swimmingly. I wish you both the best for next tuesday.

Sunny: Only 4 hours work--that sounds good. Have fun with the grandbaby this weekend.

I hope that no one works too hard. I have errands to run today----I will not do much else.

Good morning. Snow and ice and freezing temps is why I live where I do. There are drawbacks to where I live but mild winters are a great perk.
Keep safe this winter all. Farmer's Almanac says it may be brutal.
It is Friday and I am happy!

Good evening. It has been a good Friday. It began a foggy and cool 50* morning. The fog finally burned off this afternoon and it is currently 70*. Ted went to school and I shopped. I put all of that away at home and then went out to one more store that is not open in the early hours. I did pick Ted up a little early from school.
The is a rave scheduled this weekend at the park up my road. I won't be going out at any time over the weekend. And I will batten down the hatches here at home. It will be general laundry and other such fun going on here.
Anyone have any great plans for the weekend?

No great plans here---well there ARE plans..
Tomorrow I wil be making pies for our Churches Sausage Supper, the Sunday I will work part or all of the day at the Sausage Supper. I get to help cut up pies & set them out for the people to chose their dessert. AND Sunday ois Rod's Birthday---so I guess we will be doing nothing for that until the next weekend.

I think I may be geting a cold--so lots of vitamin C & such for me---I DO NOT need to be getting sick.--I wil have to work either way after all.

Tina---how often do you have such goings on over by you ? it seems to be quite often to my notion... why I cant make up my mind if that is a good thing or a bad thing...

I am here. I have talked to myself often lately.
The events at the amphitheater have been much more frequent this year than in the last several. But I keep telling myself that it is good for the economy. I do miss the billboard that used to be up in front of the park telling when events were scheduled. So we knew weeks in advance. But that was when it was owned by Blockbuster and they had many more events with big ticket artists. Now I have to watch for preparations going on for parking and such to know something is happening. I cannot find a website with info.
I have had a decent day today. Got a dew things done and am ready for a relaxing weekend.

Sorry there is no Billboard so as to prepare you. That would be nice for sure. Sorry you cannot find a website. That would be helpful.

I have to rest some tomorrow after I make the pies. I wil make 4 Pumpkin & 1 rhubarb--for the sausage supper. AND I will leave one of the pumpkin pies here for me !!! shewinks

That sounds good, Carol. I love pumpkin pie but I am the only one here that does. So it doesn't happen often.

Good morning.
It is very good breakfast food, Carol. And has a lot of benefits. Pie was a regular breakfast item in colonial times. I think we are missing out on some things from the olden days.
I have my regular weekend plans today. Need to take the rest of yesterday's turkey off the bones and make a mess of gravy with the bones and drippings. Hot turkey sandwich tonight. I also need to push a vacuum cleaner around.

You also have to supply the pie. How are you feeling today? You talked about a possible cold coming on. I bet your house is smelling good. I can make a decent pie crust but not the kind I want to make. So I use frozen most of the time. Do you make your own?
My broth is simmering away. My dog is antsy because he knows that I will strain the broth and pull out the bones and he gets the meaty bits and skin that is left.
Laundry is going. My vacuum is still tucked away collecting its own dust.

Tina: I can make my own crust--and some say it is a good crust--but I prefer to use the one in a box--that or Frozen for occasions like this--it saves so much time.

So far today I have made Brownies (for Rod as his B-Day is tomorow) and a Rhubrab Pie that is in the oven as we speak. When it comes out I will begin on the Pumpkin pies.

Pie for breakfast---good deal !!! and MY pie is going to be a 10 inch, so there will be plenty--and of course there is the brownies & I have icecream & fudge syrup in the house also.

Laundry going here as well...

Cheryl !!! wavy How are ya doing ????

Allow me to complain:

Tonight is the 20th Road Rallye that My brother (he is the Rallye Master) and his cohorts are again putting on this year. It should be the 21st event, but they didnt put it on last year. Too many people were sad it was not put on & the park association needed the funds, so they put it on again this year. The proceeds from this are used to give food baskets to the needy in the town before Thanksgiving & Christmas (each family on the list will get a basket of food & such for each Holiday.) My brother is the main writer of these rallye's. I think he is very good at it.

This year is something to do with Lincoln--(well loosly based on him) they always have a Halloween theme of some kind, given the time of year...

I LOVE the Rallye. You recieve a packet that has you going from place to place lead by clues in the packet & then you answer questions. The car with the most points (ie; questions correct) is the winner. I think the cut off is 125 cars. They cut it off there so as to avoid traffic issues. BUT You can have as many people in your car as will legally fit. shewinks

There is a canned good donation booth for coupons to answer a question. There is a play in the beginning to help you figure out the clues (if you are quick enough to understand the play)There will be a hot dog roast with Chili, marshmallows & hot choc at the end. It is THE best time !!! and an excellent fund raiser for a good cause.

I so wish I had of gotten to go--but oh well. it was fun just to tell you all of it. So thanks for listening.

That does sound like fun and wish you could go too Carol....

HI Cheryl,, do come back soon we do miss you..

I had a weird day yesterday .. was fine all day till time to pick up Derek- was fine till I got to school and then felt sick to my stomach suddenly... fought it off and got him home and me home in time to do what needed doing... felt so tired and worn out I went to bed and stayed asleep till this morning- today I am fine and well... don't think it was anything I ate- didn't eat anything different.... was just weird...

I rested today mostly... did go with Timba and Carrie to get his costume... he wants to be a dark Angel... hard to find them costumes they can actually wear at school... nothing ethnic, nothing violent, no weapons... no masks... they even told him he couldn't dress as a soldier this yr... his class won a bigger than normal party this yr cause they earned 10,000 for the school by donations instead of selling stuff...

I have my laundry down and sorted but not started- think I will do it while I watch tv tonit... or at least start it...
just taking it easy today...

Well off to finish up the kitchen,, have a good evening all!
Nana
