I am thinking perhaps it is a variety of a braided Ficus tree. But I am still looking into this. perhaps somone else will have an opinion., while I am out checking further.

Welcome, JAV. It is a schefflera, umbrella tree. They bloom so very rarely that I doubt you will have a pollen problem. At least not for the next 20 years or so. They are very easy to take care of. Water then let dry about an inch or more deep before watering again. Bright light. If it is in a window, turn it every week or so to give both sides some light. You have a lovely gift. Enjoy it!

Actually, I think it's a Pachira aquatica, or money tree. Said to bring good luck and money to those who keep them. Schefflera have fatter and more rounded leaflets.
