here we go--all bright & shiny new

Yesterday my Daughter called me to say that my Grandson, Luke, had the Chicken Pox from his CP vaccination and also he had strep throat. She stayed home with him today & I did not go over there. So just now we got a text saying that they were on their way to Children's Hospital with him as the DR wanted to check to see if he had a full blown case of the Chicken Pox (instead of the reaction to the vaccination) or if he was having a reaction to the Amoxil he was given for his Strep Throat.

Any and all prayers would be appreciated. he is just a one year old little guy....

Poor little guy. He will be in my prayers.

Prayers for little Luke... our boys had that reaction to their CP shots too... only they kept getting them over and over for about 2 months... they weren't sick just spotty and the school wouldn't let them them go... prayers he gets over this soon...

I haven't been on here in a bit but you are all in my prayers even when you do not ask.

Thanks about Luke--he is recovered from the shots. But at his last check-up for the hemangioma on his cheek, the Dr put him on some type of heart medication as they found people on it were seeing their hemagiomas shrink. I think it is working but it is a scary proposition as he msut take it at the same time each day and with plenty of food. Good thing is it must taste good as the other day when I gave it to him, he then picked up the empty syringe & tried to take it again.

He does seem to be tolerating it well though, which is good.

There is a family in my town here that has a young daughter that had the same thing on her cheek when she was small. She is about 10 years old now, & it is completely gone. I am hoping for the same outcome for Luke.

First I must say thanks for all your prayers about Luke. He is still on his medication for his hemangioma, but it is almost gone. The Dr extended his treatment for 6 more months which is sorta scary but he appears to be doing fine, so we are happy.

Second, I want to ask for prayers for my Niece's DH. While he was down in Texas for training for his job, they found that he has cancer on his tonsils. Evidently this is common on much older men, but they are now seeing it in younger men. (Randy is in his early 40's) It is caused by the HPV virus.

He saw the Dr yesterday, he will have surgery to have his tonsils removed May 2nd & then they are assuming he will have radiation. He and my niece have the 2 girls, 4 & 6. My sister, Hollie's mom, is not taking this well, of course.

Any & all prayers would be appreciated..

I am so glad that Luke is doing so well also. You'll have to post a pic to me so I can see the difference.

Our grand daughter had 4 hemangiomas. The one on the edge of her nostril and arm pit have disappeared, the one on her back is fading but the one on her chest will require surgery to remove when she is older.

When I get a good photo of his cheek I will post it Sunny.

Have a prayer req too good friends.. my cousins son just had a heart attack and now has pneumonia and ARDS.. they brought him back once already and he is on a ventilator... they live in Az... he is only 43 and has 2 young kids.... just so sad...
