I cooked a bit today so as to not to have to much in the beginning of the week. I like having quick stuff ready to go on weekdays.

Well, it's Monday, a Holiday, and I was woke up at 5:00am AGAIN boohoo madd
I'll sure be glad when I get moved. I wish I could get moved up on the list a lot faster!

I took my son out for dinner last night. Usually on Sundays I cook, he comes over to eat and we watch a movie, but we were both 'pooped' and I didn't want to cook, so we went out and skipped the movie.

Happy Holiday Monday all...

No Tina, I haven't gotten any more hay in. We cannot get three dry days to do it. We already contacted the cattle buyer...we will need to sell by the end of September. I have enough feed for my horses but not for my cattle. The hay is losing it's nutritional quality from the weather as well. One thing for certain is that this is the third time this has happened...and three strikes we're out. I will NEVER own cattle again.

Everyone seems to be having a good time this weekend...all that talk of food grin

Me I'll just sit and watch the rain..fall..everyday. rspb

I am sorry, Sunny.
Good morning and Happy Labor Day to all. I am up pretty early as well. I have no major plans for this day. I will continue to water my gardens. But not move too much otherwise.

It seems it's feast or famine. I remember several years ago when a friend of ours was having to have hay sent him from Minnesota because of our drought. Now there's a problem because of too much rain. Does it ever even out?

Johnny is working today. Being in business for himself he never knows when there's a holiday if I don't tell him and I forgot to mention it in advance. I'm surprised people would want a plumber in their house today. I'm certainly not complaining. I'm glad I've got a husband who loves his job.

I am glad there are plumbers who will work on holidays. That seems to be a big time for emergencies.
I have spent the morning reading for the most part. I did trim Ted's nails and hair. And turned off a sprinkler system and an another. A nice lazy day so far.

Trey's first day of third grade starts tomorrow; he's excited, he thought it was today so he was up getting ready at 4am... I had to remind him that he doesn't need to get ready until 7:30am tomorrow so he was kinda bummed lol.

it is nice that Trey is so happy to be going to school...I am glad for him.

While I really didnt not mind going, I would not say I "liked" it or was excited about it--BUT the first & last days were always fun.

Ours had first day Last week Monday. Week in already, but with winters probably loose it cause cant go on bad days.
My granddaughter, loves first grade. Says its good. Had gym first day. 2nd day library an she got her beloved dinosaur books.. Her favoritebooks.
First day of school they were allowed to bring favorite stuffed animal.. Of course that was her giraffe. Takes it to church an on car trips.LOL Have to do something in stupid car seats they use here. I think till they are 4foot tall they need to have that in the cars. Our state does.
NO I hated school, so did my son. Guess what, Now he takes free classes at the college, for his job.LOL

Good rainy morning..

Glad all the kiddies are liking school...and Cindy, why does that not surprise me? lol

Here children are in car seats until age 4, then moved into a larger booster seat until age 9. The booster seats are so big..moving them from car to car is awful.

Well today I start working once again, haven't done 'home care' since 2006...(mind you I did lots of cleaning privately). Time to give it a try once again with an agency.

Good Morning wavy

Good luck Sunny, hope your days goes as you'd like it to. grin

A 4 day work week ahead, but sometimes those 4 days feels like 6 if you don't have enough work to keep you busy. egad
I didn't get to sleep til well after 2am, went to bed with headache and woke with a headache. I know I slept with my jaw clenched cuz it feels like I've chewed gum all night - jaws ache and temples ache. Going to work off 3 hours sleep at my age is NOT good. uhuhh

Good morning---I am tired as well--I went to bed at 1:45 & got up at 8:15. I had more3 sleep thant Diazne but still not a lot...I sure hope Diane makes it thru the day & gets a nap when she gets home...

Dodge--I really do not know the car seat rules here any longer

when my girls were small they were 4 years or 40 pounds. if I had of waited until my oldest was 40 pounds she would have been at least 6...she was so old & in that car seat she was embarreased...I felt sorry for her but what ya gonna do??

Sunny--I do so hope that today goes well for you at work.

Tina---wow school has already began--well I hope all goes smoothly..my girls have both been teaching for a few weeks each.

going to go now--TTYL----ceramics today, remember---wavy
