Hi DaiseyM wavy So sorry it's taken so long for someone to tell you how to transfer a photo here,
Most of us use Photobucket(free) just get an account there. Load your pictures from your computer to your Photobucket account, then click on your picture , on the right side of the page you'll see a box of options for transferring. Click on the Image line it will automatically copy, then you paste within your post.

Finally found out how to work transferring photos.
Here's the one I am curious about. Looks like some kind of daisy, but not so sure it is a daisy? It has pretty foliage and like I said before, in the spring when it first comes out, it sometimes looks like dill weed.

I MAY have found what it is Daisy...There is a plant called Argyranthemum frutescens --the Margurita dDaisy. But it is grown in zones 10a-10b-11a & 11b. It also comes in many colors white being one.

For first--what zone are you in ???

Thanks, I'm in zone 2 B, that's the hardiness zone.

I looked up the margurita daisy, and while the flower looks right, well sort of, the margurita has around 13 petals, this one has several more. Also the foliage looks wrong from what I can make of it. I will keep looking. It's actually very pretty and very dainty. Thanks again, I appreciate the help.

Thanks JunieGirl. The foliage is almost asparagus fern like. The margurite daisy is the closest so far but I'm not sure that's it. I will keep checking.

when I looked for you, that is the closest thing that I could find. and yes it does look asparagus fern like.

I neglected to ask you this:
what is the diameter of the flower and what is the plant's height ???

If you find it before I do, please come back & tell us what you found.

Thanks JG. It's driving me bonkers, while some on line photos are close, I can't hit on one that looks exactly the same. I will measure the daisy tomorrow provided it still has any flowers left?

Thanks dodge, don't think the florists use this one, it wilts almost immediately after being pulled.

Thank you, thank you. I looked it up and that seems to be it. I measured it today and it's aprox 17-20 inches high. It's going to seed now. One of the sites has it listed as Anthemis daisy (Mayweed) Is it a weed, doesn't look like one? LoL. I wonder where it derived it's name? It lasts pretty much all summer long and doesn't yellow.

Any way, thank you so much, you all been a lot of help.

I am glad between us we could help you!!!

I did some reading it can be invasive & in some places like Colorado and Nevada it is officially listed as a Noxious weed. BUT then on another site they say it is fragrant & call it a flower. Then yet another is selling the seeds..so...

just remember--one man's weed is another man's flower--if you like it, well then enjoy it.

It's pretty invasive here...there is also another weed that looks just like it but shows the yellow middle with no flower petals and the two are usually seen together here. That's 'pineapple weed'...even more invasive.

Thanks guys, that's probably why I had one side of the garage with more than a few? Ha ha, even transplanted some...not the first time I transplanted a weed! I don't know if my sense of smell is going, but I purposely took a whiff of the foliage when I tried to differentiate between dill weed in the beginning. Later on, it was easy to tell the difference. It really had no scent at all, but I didn't smell the flower, just the greens. Next spring, I will probably keep a few around to mix in with some of the other flowers. It does have pretty foliage and compliments a flower bed or flower pot nicely, not to mention it keeps green the whole season.

there are a few "weeds" I keep around too, just 'cause I like them. All you have to do is watch that you "remove" the unwanted plants, so they do not over-take your "real" flowers. Why I even brought one from my last house when we moved-- lol

Don't be a stranger, do come around & tell us what you and your gardens are up to. Down in "Banter Hall" there is a thread called "CoffeeHouse". We go there to just talk between one another---do come & join us there.
