Right now I'm doing home care. It's low pay which is depressing but at least it's a paycheck. Still hoping for something better.

Good luck Cheryl. It is low pay but it is a wonderful thing you do for people.
Busy day here. I am slowly getting my water lines revamped and working. I hired a friend to come help out. At first he didn't understand my micro sprinkler system and why I would have it. After working on my main lines, he understands that regular sprinklers will not work with my lack of pressure. Micros and drip do work best here. I am pleased to be able to educate and see dawning respect from people. I work with the tools that work best in my conditions.
Now if others will leave my efforts alone....

I think I'm going to try to hit the hay early tonight. I really need a good night's sleep. Hopefully the JB and my meds will be enough to shut my brain off so I can fall asleep. Divorce sucks. Mental illness sucks. It all pretty much sucks. But, I have to remember to be thankful for what I do have. That can be hard to do but I am thankful for my brother and his girlfriend for taking me in. I'm thankful that I have a job, even if it's not a good one. I really do need benefits though. Sigh. Good night everyone.

JB and meds have not shut my brain off yet.

Cheryl, I have been through what you are going though so many times (married 5 times)....and it was always hard. I know you took care of those children...raised them....and for this to happen now after all that you have done must be devastating to you. I don't even know what to say to make you feel better, because nothing anyone said to me ever made me feel better. But, you are loved here and we are here for you. :ding:

yes what Cindy said.
Remember we love you and are here for you.

I will not be in in the morning---I am getting up early & going to watch my grandson so my DD can get some of her classroom prep done. She says she has a 1,000 hours of work to do yet. I don't know about that, but I guess she has a lot to do & time is a-growing short for her----

G'nite everyone---sweet Dreams.

Sweet dreams all. Have a good time with your grandbaby tomorrow, Carol.
I will work on my water system some more tomorrow. It is supposed to be much cooler and possible rain. I'll take it. .

Long day at work. Had to clean up dog barf at work today. Almost lost it myself. I don't do well with barf of any kind. So tired lately. This depression is kicking my [BLEEP]. I was dreading taking a shower but I had to. Wore me out, didn't relax me. I hate when the easiest things can feel so tough. I decided not to have that second drink. I'll probably podast myself to sleep here pretty soon.

Yep, you sure do. I can relate to the depression...that's why I go to 2 headshrinkers. They really help me, but it so hard to find the right one. Fortunately, after I killed my husband in 1994 a friend recommended an awesome therapist...she literally saved my life. Then when I moved back here from Bill's I had major depression problems, and luckily found another awesome therapist.

We are here for you...and when you are drinking Jim Beam and Coke pour me one! shots

I'm going to have to go into town today, and I am not liking that idea very much. boohoo

I went to town in the cool of the morning today. Came home and worked on my water system a bit. I think my son and a friend are going to finish that up for me today. I hope so because I have a dry thirsty hillside. I don't like to lose plants and I have. But mostly I worry about the upcoming fire season that is already rearing its ugly head.

in the mid 80's here today. They say really bad heat is on the way---goody...NOT !!!

Today I have MIL things to do, then this evening "WE" are sitting with Luke at his house. His mommy & daddy are being treated to a nice meal out, as a thank you gift, by the reator that sold their other house for them. I am happy for them--I think parents need to get out--if only for a few hours. Everyone is happier then.

I am feeling better though, so that is nice. I was actually able to get in & out of the tub last night...I so dislike showers, so I really enjoyed that.

Sorry I have not been around much of late---life has to calm down soon, right ???

catch everyone on the flip side--wavy

this past 2 week's heat was almost unbearable here. The coming week is supposed to bring a couple of days of rain and in the 80's. We Need rain so badly here, to day and tomorrow I'm going to water deep, so IF we get rain it will soak into the ground instead of just running off because right now the yard is so dry and hard. boohoo

Off to go do the usual Saturday errands. I saw a recipe for tater-tot casserole I'm going to make tomorrow. thumbup

I liked it better when I could see who is online which used to show down the side of my screen. I like knowing if I'm talking to myself or if there's a chance someone might respond.

I hate arguing on Facebook. rolz

oh wow Cindy I didn't see that... did you delete it?? I read what you posted but didn't see a rebuttal with it why It was just wrong no matter how they try to slice it, Zimmerman should have just stayed in his car period, none of it would have happened. It was all a one sided testimony, Zimmermans word against a dead teenager. They focused on the wrong thing, Treyvon's teen actions, many teens fight, smoke weed, run away from home, doesn't mean they aren't scared when they are being followed and feels threatened? As an adult I would have been scared,if I was being followed and if I were a teen boy I may have tried to fight Z too . Z should have just stayed in his car. Because he didn't two families have been affected, and Zimmerman will have to leave the area, or he will forever have to look over his shoulder, in any case God will judge him more severe than any court on earth could ever do. Sad for the Martins, no justice.

There are certain subjects I refuse to bring up or get caught up in. Not worth the wasted energy in my opinion. Plus, I'd probably end up losing friends.

Had a pretty good day today. Did my workout this morning and that me so jazzed up I went and ran almost three miles. It's amazing what endorphins can do for your mood. Hoping that tomorrow is a good day as well.

Hell no I didn't delete it...I put it on all the news releases and in friends posts about this.
Quote
The dispatcher told him several times not to follow or engage with Martin. He did it anyway. If someone came on me like that I would be fighting back, too...just like Trayvon....as far as he was concerned, he was being mugged. But, of course, he was not there to testify. And, no, I am not black.

I am livid over this. He had pot in his system...well, HELLO....I had pot in my system sometimes when I was that age. Big deal. The 911 tapes tell Zimmerman not to follow him or confront him...he did it anyway. If I was him, walking home and someone came upon me like Zimmerman did I would be fighting, too. How is a pack of Skittles going to end up against a gun? Zimmerman should have been guilty of murder. Just my opinion.....

Glad you gad a good day, Cheryl. thumbup

As far as the Zimmerman/Martin thing goes...I don't care if I lose friends over it. I'm very opinionated when something like this happens.

I do agree that he should've been found guilty. No good reason for the verdict that jury put out.

Everyone is posting the picture of Treyvon giving "the finger". I just posted on Facebook about 5 pictures of me giving that gesture to Bill when he was taking pictures of me. Do I deserve to be killed for it?

He wasn't found guilty?! I don't know what to say, really. And arguing on facebook (or anywhere online) with strangers as well as people you know is equally pointless after a certain extent. If they're strangers, well it's pretty self-explanatory (you're never gonna meet...who cares?) and if they're your friends or family, it's a whole different kinda mess. *sigh*

It's 2:00 am and I can't sleep...was browsing this forum (very nice. Absolutely loving all the posts, specially the pics!) and landed here. Hi everyone!
