hello
i have this lavender for few months, when it came it was already in bad condition (i suppose someone just let it dry). today i spotted a net on it. is it a "normal" spider net or some special kind of pest? in any case what can i do about that?

Looks like spider mites. I've never successfully eradicated them, but hopefully someone who has will be along soon.

I agree with Lynne, Spider mites EECK,, I would take the plant out side and spray it down with the water hose first, all the leaves stems every thing with forced water.
Let it dry out don't bring back in as it could infect other plants.
Spray a soap solution on plant leaves. Mix 3 tbsp. of dishwashing soap into a gallon of water. Pour the solution into a spray bottle and apply to the foliage, especially the undersides of the leaves. Reapply in 3 days if spider mites continue to feed on the plant.
With the webbing you have described it's heavily infested.( sorry your picture won't load for me) Spider mites thrive in Dry conditions, they suck the moisture out of the leaves. If you have other house plant near it wipe each leaf with a moist cotton ball or sponge and spray with the same solution of dish soap and water in a sprayer/mister.
