Good morning, pouring rain here but I love how it is melting the snow.

Anyone have Easter celebration plans?

Good morning. 6:48 time check.
No Easter plans here beyond sticking with my little family. It is a school day after.

I usually cook on Easter, But I'm thinking this year going to FURR'S Buffet,, I don't get any time off work and don't want to spend my entire day cooking, notme I will hide eggs(plastic ones) filled with goodies, Like ITUNE cards, dollar bills, candy, etc for them to find when they first get up.

Oh yes and also taking them to an Easter Roller skate party Saturday night,, I might even go out in the rink and take a fall or two lol

OK...I finally got out today because I had to have my phlebotomy.
I had a fever (didn't know that...I can't find my thermometer). The Urgent Care place that used to be near the oncology place I was at is now gone...so I came home and went to the recliner.
I will live through this...I always do....lol

Nope...I didn't see the doctor today. I have to go every 2 weeks to the lab, get blood drawn to see what my hemacrit level is...then go sit in a comfy chair in a different room and get the phlebotomy and then leave. I only see the doctor every 3 months.

I just found a rectal thermometer (mercury kind) I used to use on my dogs years ago. I ain't using that! yikes
If I am not better by Friday when Rachel gets here I will get her to take me. I don;t have a doctor here...my doctor is in Lexington, so I have to find an urgent treatment place here so I don;t have to drive to Lexington and back. My eyes are swelled so bad I can't hardly hold them open...almost rear-ended a school bus on the way home today because I can't see. nervous

well if you would wash the thermometer in soap & water, then rinse it then wash it with alcohol (not the one you drink) I think you could use it---

But in the mean time, why not call Rachel & tell her to bring you a digital oral one when she comes. (and keep it for you) Also, I think you should call Leslie & have her take you so you can be on your way to becoming well before Rachel comes...

That is my story & I'm sticking to it !!!!!

The host fixed whatever issue was occurring with missing resources and I can now properly reboot and the resources stick properly. I have rebooted since to ensure everything is up to snuff as well as made a few minor tweaks...

I hope that everyone can login and post properly now (as of about 6pm PST).

Good morning all..overcast here as well Tina, makes the day seem gloomy.

Got my hair cut yesterday, first time in a long time. Sad part is that I asked for it longer than the pic I had, she cut it shorter and it looks nothing like the pic . I am so frustrated..I hate my hair now. Lesson learned for me.

Oh no,, I hate it when hairdressers don't listen uhuhh One time a hairdresser told me when they make a mistake in the back the person getting their hair cut doesn't know it and the hairdresser has to compensate the style by going shorter to make up for the mistake. AT least they should inform the person the mistake was made and allow the person to choose a different style or at least recognize WHY the cut was made shorter and only charge them 1/2 the cost of the cut. So sorry Sunny,, in a couple of months it will be longer . You're so pretty that any cut would look good on you,, I bet you rock that cut anyway kissie

OH my so sorry Sunny--but yep, I bet you do look good anyway--and in af ew months, this will all be a memory---

Tina, sorry it is overcast--but hey, at least it is not 1 foot of snow. LOL

Shirley--thanks for the comment--and yes we all love you Cindy, please take care.

Diane--here is what I can tell you about the time stamp.

1) go to "my stuff" & click on Preferences.
2) scroll down to "What time format do you want to use"

There you will see the time format for the forum--

3) You then can adjust the numbers there using "minus" or "plus" to get to what your time is. Then come back & post the time it really is where you live & come back later & check when there is a time in your post.

(clear ??)

going to start my day now---wavy

Someone please make note that Diane needs new glasses haha

It'll grow out and everything is a lesson learned..although that makes sense since she cut my hair with a razor instead of scissors.

LOL ok then, Diane needs glasses---'cept I bet you do look cute in the cut--but that it is just NOT the cut that you wanted.

and yes, the thing about hair is that it always grows back---

Beautiful day here as well--sunny in the 40's.

It turned out sunnier here than they claimed it would. I am not complaining. It is much more humid than usual. That is not a bad thing once in a while.
I a getting ready to run my vacuum. I have not since Ted has been off school. He is not fond of it.

The boys were out of school all day but I had to go to work. When I got home and ready to pull in the drive way, I discovered they used sidewalk Chalk and drew an Easter Scene 0n my drive way. A Crucifix on a hill and rabbits and eggs and people kneeling praying ( a little drizzle of rain had blurred some of it, the boys had to point it some of it out and tell me what it is/was) shewinks but it was pretty cool. one of them had even stepped on a beetle and drew a grave RIP for it,, lol. AND the kitchen was cleaned up, Not a dirty dish or glass anywhere!,, They are learning that Grandma works hard and everyone needs to clean up after them selves. Nice to come home to things like that grin BTW I didn't pull on up in the drive way,, I parked in the street and walked up the drive way to look at their Mural  which reminds me I need to pull the car up before it gets dark.
