A new one for a weekend.
I am not so fond of this time change. It is the one I have the hardest time adjusting to.

Hello all,

We are staying in today.. it's cold and snowing at a nice little clip... has been since 6 am or so... about 5 inches out there now... may get up to 10 if you believe weather people.... not sure I do...we do need the moisture ... March is supposed to be snowiest month for us....

I got my laundry folded and ready to go upstairs today... as long as I have hubby home I may get him to move the wall unit, so I can get the wall dusted and floor back there vacuumed some... not something I can do by myself for sure... thing is all oak and very heavy..

Well off to get something done today.. we have plans to go see The Hobbit tomorrow.. take Timba - he wants to see it again..and Joe wants to see it too.. it's at the cheap movie now finally.... can't hardly afford to go to reg theaters.

Thinking of sticking a roast in the crock for dinner tonight.. leftovers for tomorrow...

Nana

Diane, I hope you get a really great car and a great deal!! kissie

It was so nice today that I got up early and washed clothes (by hand rspb ) and got them hung outside on the line. It's hard on my hands but a body's got to do what a body's got to do. why

I'm thinking about moving to a different apartment this spring, with a laundry!

I met my son downtown and we wandered around in the library together. The walk there and back was good. Nice not to have to wear a winter coat!! thumbup It was in the 60's

I wish they would change the time this one last time, so we have more daylight of the evening--& THEN leave well enough alone---I prefer daylight savings to the other...

Sweet dreams all. I have changed my clocks and my batteries in my smoke alarms. My carbon monoxide alarm is a plug in and I tested that. All is well and I am heading to bed. I hope I adjust quickly.

Good morning, and the coffee is flowing breakfast

I have to laugh at myself.....after all the talk on here about changing the time, and me trying to remind myself all evening to do it....I still forgot!! lol I woke up this morning at 4 am and wondered why I was awake so early. Finally looked at my phone and remembered what I hadn't done! Thank goodness the phone and PC has better brains than I do. egad I would have wandered around all day wondering "what happened?" lol

Hi all,

Typical springtime in the Rockies here.. 10 inches of snow on Sat and Sun and today the sun is out and all is melting away.. and 49* .. warm enough we went out without jackets today... and I heard them forcast another snow storm beginning of next week.... LOL! Like the warm weather today but this changing back and forth is killing me pain wise... I do much better when it is consistantly warm or cold ...

Have a good aftertnoon all!

I know exactly what you mean Jimmy... these days just get to me... will probably end up back in Az eventually.... can take the heat better than this up and down cold, warm stuff... someday when hubby can retire...

I am cold tonit too... got my heated blanket over me... only way I can stay warm tonight...

Got my laundry done today... even folded.... did my tax stuff last week- hopefully won't have to pay again this yr... be nice to get some back ..... may find out this by this weekend.

Well off to get the laundry upstairs... one last thing to cross off the to do list... tomorrow will be towel and bedding done... and maybe cleaning out some of the basement stuff- have a whole box of picture frames down there that are empty- so going to get a box of donation stuff ready starting with those... one less thing in my basemet.....

You reminded me that I have a drawer full of frames to get rid of, Nana.
Today was 75*, no jackets needed. No fire needed either. Tomorrow it may reach mid 80's. I did bake a lasagna this morning to take the morning chill out of the house. I will medicate my sinuses tonight and sleep well.

Good Morning !!

Ladies, I have 2 containers of frames...I just keep them until I need a frame---saves me money I figure.

Smoke alarms going off this morning---They are the kind that are wired into the house, so I really dont know what is the problem...I have walked around the house, 7 I see nothing wrong...I do so hope that the wiring is OK>>> why

Family is in for a few days...I "really" could have used to sleep in this mornking---I am way short on sleep...

Good Tuesday morning, Day six at the gym, and Day two of my workout circuit training with my trainer. Went well, We will see after four weeks.~
Now if the weather could please be kind of spring like? In Michigan that is a lot to ask.
Last year at this time it was in the seventies, and then the 80's Then in april the 20s. Killed all the fruit crop just about. It was so sad to see the apple orchards with just a few apples here and there in the fall. Pray it does not do that again.

Keep your nose alert there, Carol. My smoke alarm closest to the kitchen goes off nearly every time I turn on the oven. I hate my oven.
Good late morning, early afternoon for some of you. I seem to be getting little to nothing done around here. But I did eat lunch already. I may lay down so I can begin my day all over again.

Tina, Toast in the toaster sets mine off...drives me crazy.

A bit milder today...I need to do our tax refund sometime this week, just can't sit myself down long enough to do it.

Junie.. our wired alarms go off if there is dust in them... or a moth...have had both happen... moth in middle of night- not a fun time... moths migrate thru here every spring... impossible not to have them in house then.... I usually open mine and vacuum them out once a month or so.... pain in the * cause I am so short have to stand on a ladder or stool to do it....

Good morning. I was too wiped out to say good night last night. I took some kind of sinus meds that threw me off kilter yesterday. I am much better today. Still have sinus issues but no medicinal hangover.

Glad you are feeling better Tina.

Pouring rain here today...thankfully I patched my roof last week. I had quite the mess the week before. I need to put a whole new roof on this spring.

Good morning. It looks like another beautiful day here.

Yesterday was sooooo spring! I saw my first butterflies flitting around clap

My grandson and I went outside and played with his football. grin
Last year I could hardly last 5 minutes doing that. Now I can outlast him!! bop

Way to go, Shirley!
Yes, I will be roofing this spring/summer too, Sunny. I have patched until I really cannot justify it any more. I am just not looking forward to the general mess.
