Hello! My friend recently bought me a beautiful Cyclamen for my birthday (early February). I've read up on it a little but it's always nice to get care advice from people you can talk to. I live in New England so I was hoping to keep it a house plant. What I've read tells me that the plant will go dormant around April (Probably sooner as it's an indoor plant and the temperatures are higher than I'm sure it would prefer). I was wondering what a dormant plant looks like? As the leaves and flowers have died I've been cutting/pulling them out. Should I leave them? What do I do with it while it's dormant? Is it correct that I should stop watering it when all of the flowers are gone?

Ive loved houseplants ever since I was a kid, my grandmother taught me. Majored in Floriculture in High School.
