A fried of mine gave me a couple of small rose bushes. I knew they were transplanted too late last year to bloom and I've never grown any kind of rose before so I just kind of put them in the ground and hoped for the best. The other day I noticed there was a bud that was close to opening on one of the bushes, today it was open a little! It's not much bigger around than a fifty cent piece but I think it's still pretty.

They did smell good. This was almost three years ago and I no longer have my roses. Put in a raised bed for veggies this last year.
