I had my bank account hack and taken over twice in the last month. This time the bank caught it and notified me. The bank closed my account and opened a new one I signed up on Life lock so now I wont need to worry about this anymore. Only $25.00 a month

I hope your bank covered everything, Jimmy.
I only have checks direct deposited into accounts because you nearly have to these days. But I also clean out my accounts as early in the month as I can. I am not feeling so trustful with banks keeping my funds safe with all of the deposit insurance changes.
I also do not have any credit cards. If I cannot afford something up front, I do not need it. This has served me well all of my life and saved me much in interest fees and things through the years. And much less worry in general.

Clicking LIKE thumbup LIKE thumbup LIKE thumbup on this Tina,, I'm the same way,, I don't trust banks,or paying bills on line, and use a prepaid debit for solely purchasing on line and use as much as possible on the purchase of the prepaid. Too much fraud going on and easily done now days.

My gosh, how in the world can someone fraud your account if it is not online? You have me scared now. I thought that money was safe and secure with a passbook only account.

it so easily done, when you hand your debit/credit card to a waitress, swipe it at the gas station, use an ATM. I'm just very careful, cuz I trusts noone notme

According to my bank there are people with scanner type equipment that can read the strip on the back of your card through your pocket or purse. I don't carry my wallet in my back pocket or even where it can be seen plus I have it hid between other cards. If I need any money I go to the bank and draw it out in person I never use any ATM even @ my bank.
