I am going to de-clutter this year. Johnny has already started by cleaning out his closet and he's worked a little on the attic. So now that I've got the time I'm going to do a room at a time and get rid of everything, and I mean everything, we don't use and no more keeping stuff because I might use it someday. I've got soup bowls that I bought because they are cute and haven't used them in years. Why keep them? Obviously I have something else that holds soup and they're just taking up space.

My plan for the new yr is to figure out this iPad better and of course try to get healthier, lose some weight and walk more...... Go thu all my millions of pics and scan them ,save to disks. Give copies to kids, Hopefully will feel inspired enough to actually do it. LOL!

Week gotta get ready for breakfast and grocery shopping, can't start the new year with an empty larder.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I've joined some challenges on Ravelry. I'll be learning socks, gloves, needle rolls and other knitted items. I've never been much of a knitter so this is quite the challenge for me. I'm also in a quilt club so I will probably attempt something quilted. Then my addressbook is falling apart (plastic) so I thought I would make a permanent book cover that would work inplace of the plastic. Not to sure this will work but you know me always willing to give it a try.

Put in a built in book shelf in the craft room. That should be fun.

I had a very good 2012. And I am a happy chick.
For this year I want to garden more. I have avoided food crops because of critter problems. But I foresee food prices possibly skyrocketing and they have already risen enough in my opinion. So I will be placing buckets and pot grown foods around to try to stymy the critters a little. Maybe get a little for my own larder.
Happy New Year to all.

Tina: have you considered putting your garden in a fenced in area. When we lived out on the farm,-- for the first few years we had our garden fenced in, as the lady who lived in the house before us did that to keep such as rabbits out. it worked really well for most if not all critters.

I would need a complete cube of fencing, including bottom and top, to keep out the ground squirrels. And yes, I have certainly considered it.
Teddy and I are beginning the new year all fresh and clean with new haircuts. And all of the laundry is done and the clean beds are all ready for us.
