A Gardeners Forum Forums General Discussion The Plants and Flowers Forum Plant Propagation Moss Propagation?

I have some fresh moss that I collected in the mountains. Most is now planted indoors in terrariums. I have some extra that I wanted to propagate in a blender with buttermilk or beer. I live in Ohio, where it's winter. Can I make my mix and spread it outdoors where I want it in these cold temperatures? Or, should I start it inside spread the mix on my branches and rocks inside until it get's warmer? Never done this before!
