I have fallen up more often than down. I tend to be more careful when I am likely to fall down. But not so much when I am going up.
I cannot wait for bedtime. But it wouldn't be fair to shuffle Ted off too early.

My prayers are with you Cindy.

Good Morning Everyone.

So what's on your adgenda today?

Me, the car is fixed yeah! So it's out to the library, gas station, food bank, and grocery store. That should keep me busy for awhile.

Need to make an appointment for an oil change too. Hate it that, that came due in December. i'll have to plan better next year.

Good morning. I missed the surgery for you, Cindy. Godspeed to you.
I have a busy day planned. I will see how much of it I can get done. And the leftovers will be added to tomorrow's list.

sounds as if everyone is busy today. I didnt miss the skin surgery thing when Cindy posted it, but I thought perhaps we were meant to glosss over it. I wish you luck with that, Cindy.
Sunny do not work too hard.
TK: I am glad that you got your car fixed---so did I.

Tina--have a great day & dont you work too hard either..

I am just going to ceramics today--then I need to come home & wait for the Drs office to call & let me know about marie's blood tests. I think that will be a good time to make my Christmas prep to do list...

eveyone have a great day!!!

Wow.. all so busy, missed Cindy and her by the way announcement... prayers going your way....

Cars being fixed and able to do the running we all have to do is a good thing....Sunny do take it easy today...

I have a lazy day today till school is out- watching the little boy that used to live next door.. his Dad took an out of state job and Mom has to work late all month so I will pick him up after school today...Carrie is off today , sort of... she has the baby today and goes in and works an all night shift... starting at 9pm so she will be off tomorrow...

I am making stew for dinner and getting a start on wrapping tonight.. hate to do it all last minute... we are doing Christmas at Carrie's so may just take it all over there and put it under her tree and drive her boys crazy with wondering...LOL!

Well off to get the stew in the crock and get some breakfast .. I actually slept in today!

I have no Christmas presents to wrap but sure would love to be able to wrap everyone else's. It's an art form for me. I love to wrap presents "creatively". Bought someone a camera years ago for Christmas...bought an extra roll of film...unrolled it and used that as the ribbon and bow.

Medicaid is so messed up. They will not cover more than one "procedure" at a time. So, instead of getting all the cancer places cut out today in one visit they got the worst one and have to go back separate times for the other 2. I made the next appointment so they can get these stitches out on the same day they do the next one...not that Medicaid cares I am trying to save them a little money but to turn what should have been 2 trips to the surgeon into 5 instead of 12. Crazy.....no wonder the healthcare system is in the shape it's in.

Pain/numbing stuff is wearing off now....looks like a recliner is in my near future soon as I get Lola fed.

No Tina..it's part of our Christmas food, I made 185 rolls yesterday to freeze. When someone visits I pop them in the oven to serve as a treat.

Good morning all, pouring rain out there...and in December touched

Cleaning here all day...

Good morning. I woke a little early to a phone call. But it must have been a dream because no one called. But only a few minutes before my alarm so it is alright.
This is going to be the warmest day of the week at pushing 70*. That will be nice. The rest of the week will only be about 60's so very tolerable.

I spent a bit of the day shopping. I am having a mental block on what to get Teddy for Christmas. I've been walking through stores to get ideas. But there is nothing I see that could top his iPad. He doesn't really need anything. But I need to have something for him to unwrap when everyone else is unwrapping. I have a couple of weeks. Something will come to me.
Meanwhile with my shopping around, I found a bunch of other stuff I really needed. I spent some cash today.

Hi all,

Well I was up early but had Senika, and the boys had a half day of school so had the 4 of them too... finally got Joe to put up my kitchen shelf I have been asking for forever... my tiny kitchen just doesn't have counter space so decided a shelf would get the stuff off the counter and out of my way when I want to cook or bake- I really like it being there.. may just ask for another one on the other side...LOL!

Carrie worked an all night shift.. the lady that usually does that job- changing signs is out with a bad knee... had to have surgery so Carrie worked from midnight till about 5 this morning.. so she had to sleep today.. she is one tired cookie... they had 15,000 to change out..

It's just after 6:30 and I could go to sleep now but don't dare so will try and get something done in house to stay awake for a while....

Nana

Sunny, Tina, when you all get done with your windows, just get together & come and do mine--THEN when you are done with mine, Emily, my youngest with the baby, wants her windows done as well. Surely the 2 of you can get both of these houses done in the time of one, since it will be the 2 of you, right??? bow lol

I have a lot to do this morning, then I am off to my DD's. I get to watch my grandson YAY!!! Luke cuddle time it is. I am so very happy !!! I think I need to take my camera.

Then tonight I get to go to my DH's Christmas Party. This is really just a dinner in a sports bar banquet room but I get to get dressed up (a bit) and someone else is cooking & cleaning up supper. It is a win win to me !!!

it wil only get up to 55*F here today, but it is still nice in my book!!!

It sounds like a glorious day for you, Carol. Safe travels.
I have a couple of chickens and an acorn squash roasting in my oven. One of those chickens will go into the freezer for another meal or three. It is a good day here.

Haven't said much on here for a few days. Kinda in my own world...have been worried about my sister. She fell a few days ago (yes, it runs in the family) went to the ER. They did a chest x-ray to see if she had broken ribs. Doctor came back and showed her the x-ray...and told her no broken ribs but a large nodule on her lung that looked to be cancer. Yesterday she went for a cat scan...got the results this afternoon at her doctor's office. Cat scan showed cracked ribs...and no sign of the nodule. It was very clear on the x-ray 3 days ago.

why or angel ?????

Sometimes x rays that look clear with something bad on them are just wrong... they told me once I had a broken rib and then the next day it wasn't even cracked in another one.... no explanation ...
Hopefully your sis case is the same.... will be praying ..

X-rays can be wrong. And that is why the CT scan for a followup. I am glad for her (if it is not wrong to be happy about broken ribs).
Sweet dreams all. I am going to try to sneak a slightly early bedtime in on Teddy.

Thank God the cat scan was so quick...I was a basketcase for the last 3 days.

I'm going to try to go to sleep. Last night I went to sleep in the recliner with Abacat...she's not so bad but I am very allergic to her. She wants right up by my face. Then Spartacus decided he would join us and got on the foot part of the recliner...but when he lays down he expands to like 4 times his normal size, so he ended up on the entire foot part and some of the seat...I had to put one leg over the arm of the chair and the other up to my chest. Finally at 4am I had enough and got in the bed.

I'll start out in the recliner tonight and see what happens...

Nighty night.

Definitely cat blankey familar.

Today will be another busy one. Off to mortgage my soul at the payday loan store. I'm 330 dollars short this month of being able to make the bills. And don't even ask me how I'm going to get it all paid back. Then it's to the grocery store to get those items that weren't available at the cheap grocery store. And this evening is the christmas party for the relief society. Thank heavens I had everything I needed for presents already in the house. I'm doing the penny squeak for the forseeable future.

They do....my cousin borrowed $500 a few years ago and had to pay $89 every 2 weeks for just the interest until she paid the loan back. She ended up paying over $1,500 for a $500 loan when she finally paid it off.

I have borrowed so much from my mom and dad since they cut my SS off. No interest, and if I don't end up paying it back (which I always do) it will never be asked for.

Good morning. I feel like I have morning sickness this morning. Don't reckon I'm pregnant.... lol

I have not borrowed from family since I grew up and moved out. It is not a comfortable way for me to live. I have borrowed from friends in the past and always make tracks to repay as quickly as possible. I have not felt the need to borrow for many years. No credit cards, no mortgages. If something breaks and I don't have what it takes to repair or replace then I don't need it. I have washed my laundry by hand and cooked all of my meals on a grill when I needed. And saved for what I wanted.
I really like living the way I do. I'd love to be even more self-sufficient than I am. It is fun and gives real purpose to life.

I never borrowed any money from my mom or dad until I had to pay my attorney $50,000 upfront to represent me in my manslaughter trial. He (attorney) gave me a year to pay it back (with a lien on my house)...and when it was time to pay it back I was $5,000 short so I borrowed it from dad. Sold a little piece of land and paid that back to dad in less than a month.

The money I have gotten from them since they cut my check off will be paid back as soon as SS sends me my back pay, which should be any day. They direct deposited my monthly money Dec. 1 and I didn't even notice it til today. party So glad I got this Social Security stuff finally straightened out.
