They are bookmarks made with 3 buttons an extra large paperclip and some felt.









I really enjoyed putting these together. The timing was perfect because I had just decided to start a bookmark collection. I was tired of sticking torn napkins and everything else in my books to keep my place. Especially in cookbooks where I might have as many as 20 bookmarks in a book.

I usually use appointment cards from doctors (because I take a book to dr appts)...but end up losing them and then not knowing when my appointment is.

I'll use anything for a bookmark. I never have a real bookmark handy when I need one.

Recently we had a craft night at church and one of the things they made were bookmarks. I was given 3 and I love them. So I decided that I would start a bookmark collection. I immediately found a chosin(sp) and brass bookmark and this website for the button bookmarks so I'm on my way with bookmarks. And I'm going to make some quilted ones to help teach me machine quilting and binding techniques.
