Hello,
I have 2 corn plants that are suffering :(
They are viewable at this link:
Picasaweb Album https://picasaweb.google.com/102186745481993633484/HouseholdPlants?authkey=Gv1sRgCPLeu_2Brdn4-QEWhen I got them from another household, they were doing beautifully. Now, one has leaves that are browning and curling (see first photo). I did water it too much (thinking that the browning as due to lack of water), but have since learned that they do better with drier soil.
So, I replanted it with drier, well-fertilized soil and it is still browning and curling.
any suggestions? It is now in a spot that gets indirect sun. Should it be in a less sunny spot?
Corn plant #2 has leaves that are paling, like they've lost the chlorophyll in their cells. I have not re-potted this one, but refrained from watering to make sure the soil isn't soggy. I also added a few drops of miracle-gro to the soil, but it is still in the same condition. This plant gets more sunlight than the other - is this the cause of its discoloration?
