A Gardeners Forum Forums General Discussion New Members Hello from Fort Drum, NY

Located in beautiful snowy Hell beginning in another month and a half or so.
I'm 27, married, 4 children, 2 German Shepherds. We have been stationed here for almost a year, but I was stationed here back in 2008, then in Colorado, then back to NY. I'm actually an Arizona native.
My current haves:
Marble Queen Pothos (it had an accident so it's in recovery)
Swedish Ivy (was growing wild in my yard when it was landscaped so I salvaged some of it and replanted)
Hostas (were variegated but now are solid?!)
Unidentified "cancer" vine - as named by my neighbor because it has taken over with vengeance.
2 VFT's - typical variety.
Asiatic Lilies - 2 varieties

Welcome, AshG. I used to live in Rochester, Ny. Hard growing area for sure. I kill houseplants unless they can be grown outdoors in my zone 9. And a lot can so I am a happy camper. I was not sure what a VFT is so I looked it up.
