I took a break from my cleaning and helped my older son with a couple of things. Learning how to restring the double weedeater line. He also took down a dead tree for me. A stupid neighbor came up behind him in his van to ask what he was doing just as the final cut went through. The tree got hung up on others and my son told him to get lost because he wasn't sure which way it was going to go now.And the van was in his way from jumping out of the way. The guy moved and my son gave the tree a little push. It fell right where the van had been.
I made a loaf of French toast which my boys had for lunch. There is enough in the freezer to make at least 6 more servings.

French toast sounds good...without syrup on it, of course.
I made potato salad awhile ago...woke up from a nap craving it...maybe I'm pregnant. lol

I have enlisted the help of a classmate of mine when I was in boarding school to help with my Social Security appeal....of course he can't really "help" me (he shouldn't even be talking with me about it, actually)...he is a Social Security Judge...probably the one I will have to go in front of with the appeal. So....that should hopefully make this process a little easier for me.

I am sure that you can appeal the appeal. You can also just reapply. And reapply, And reapply. You may have to pay back the amount of the truck though, in increments.
I never add syrup to french toast. I do add a touch of vanilla to the eggs though and that is enough flavor for me.
I did not get all that I had planned to do today done. I had company this afternoon. And sent them away with food for a day or two. But I feel good about my day. And the most important things got done.

I got a big whopping $1500 for the truck. Sure wouldn't have sold it if I had known this would happen... egad That won't even pay for ONE of my phlebotomy appointments. Learned a lesson too late....
Well...I will appeal the appeals and keep reapplying...I can't go to a doctor otherwise.

Good morning.
Grandbaby time is important for both you and for her. So it is not a wasted day, Sunny.
We are ready for the Monday back to school routine. The sun is rising a little later each day so I can see the seasons changing. It is both sad and exciting at the same time.

good morning everyone---
I agree with Tina--I think the seasons are changing---early this year--just like the harvests..
In some years I have seen the corn stay in the fields until thanksgiving, because of the weather, but they would at least wait until September some time--this year here---what corn there is, has been being harvested for a few weeks already. The wheat was a full month early as well.

and as I have said, the Hummingbirds have been getting ready to leave for a few weeks too---

Cindy---keep up the good work--I hope that something goes your way sooner rather than later.

Sunny---I wish you luck with the rain

well I am off to drink my coffee 7 then g et to work---
everyone have a good day...

In while I grab a quick lunch...had to mow my lawn twice in places because it was so thick. Off to start the weed wacker in a few.

I can finally see a few flowers starting in the front ditch that I had to give up on mowing. I have malva and a few black eyed susan's blooming...hoping it can fill it self with pretty flowers so it doesn't look too bad thumbup

It's nice to see the sun finally..

People have harvested potatoes earlier here.

BTW: I can't wait for Fall...

Fall here is a nice weather season. So I basically like it. But it is also when we get most of our gale force winds. And when some idiot arsonist decides to light fires. So a watchful season as well. Looking at an El Nino winter too.
I got my youngest son to school, my oldest son to an appointment a few blocks away from that school and stopped to shop. Stopped back by to see if my oldest was done. He wasn't. I came home and put my foodstuffs away.
I want to go up during apple harvest season to enjoy the fun stuff they do for that in a small local town nearby. Big farm harvests go on around here all year long. California is a big agricultural state. People don't realize it, even Californians.

Nothing has changed on my pages or layout.

I'll be gone all day with my mother...trying to sort out a mess her previous boss made. It's going to be a long day.

I was supposed to get a choice of one of these ways to appeal...
----------------------------------------------------------
CASE REVIEW: In this kind of reconsideration, we look at your case without meeting with you. But you have the right to see what is in your file before we look at your case. You also can give us more information about your case.

INFORMAL CONFERENCE: Just like a case review, you can look at your file and give us more information. You also can come to the conference and tell the person who will be looking at your case why you disagree with our first decision. You can bring witnesses to talk about your case. And you can bring your representative, if you have one, to the conference.

FORMAL CONFERENCE: This method is available if we change or stop your payment. A formal conference allows you to question witnesses and we can require witnesses to appear.
--------------------------------------------------------------

The only one of those choices for the appeal they would give me today was the first one...and he said "There's no sense appealing...you will get turned down. I make the decision immediately" so I said "I want it filed and I want a letter telling me it's turned down so I can appeal it AGAIN...and I want a copy of what I just filed with you". He was so rude to me.
I left there bawling. boohoo

Oh, well.....gonna keep trying. In the meantime I am cut off from Medicaid and can't go to my doctor appointments now.

Send a letter to both your congressmen and senators.
Tell them the facts and explain that you need EMERGENCY help, or you will DIE!

Kentucky is not like Washington...we don't have all that "help" here...I don't know why it is different in different states, but it's hard to get help like that in Kentucky.

I literally will die if I don't get my blood treatments for the polycythemia and the hemochromatosis...it will probably take a few months to get to that point, but will be a real b!tch having to go through it. My nephew is in the hospital right now, has been for a few weeks, because he has polycythemia and didn't know it and had a pulmonary thrombosis. I guess we all have to die sometime...we aren't getting through this world alive.....so I will do what I can and take what comes. I was blessed to live through what happened in Washington....so I feel like I have had some extra years to spend with my family that were good.

Cindy, now may be the time to hire a soc sec, attorney. They will skim funds off the top of whatever you may get but without, you may not get the medical needs taken care of. They will walk you through the processes. And file these papers for you.
Good luck.
