I planted a couple of Hydrangeas shrubs about 2 weeks ago near the corner of my house. Mostly sun with some after noon shade starting around 2-3pm. I noticed yesterday that one of them was extremely droopy. I don't mean the leaves they looked fine, but top 3-5 inches of each stalk was pointing downwards. It was still droopy this morning. The soil was rather moist as it had rained earlier that day, so I know its not water shortage. They were fertilized with miracle grow when they were planted. The two plants are only a few feet apart and the second plant only showed minor dropping (2 or 3 stalks and only an inch or 2 turned down) but it perked up in the evening yesterday?

Any other suggestions what caused it?

Only when it was when it was hot or the tope few inches of soil were dry, they day i noticed the droopy one the top three to four inches were quite damp. Its been overcast the last few days and it seems to have perked up.

Sometimes it takes a bit for the roots to settle in their new home..just give them time and keep them watered as Dodge stated.
