between 5 to 7 inches of snow--and now they say we will have freezing rain on top of that here in an hour--- does not look like I will be doing anything for quite awhile yet...

My big project today is to drain and clean the big fountain in the Bus Stop, then hook up a new pump for it. It hasn't run for a couple years, so it is kinda funky water in there... kilroy

Love your bus stop, glad you will be able to fix the fountain.

Today I got out and pruned the fruit trees and managed to finally get the netting off of the plum tree. Of course the netting is now a total loss but live and learn.

I'm excited to see the daffodils in bud. I look forward to them blooming.

I checked out the calendar and now I have 9 1/2 things to do. And here I didn't even think the season had started.

Bill, I'm glad you can get that fountain fixed too. I loved it when you had the outside camera and we could see what was happening at your place.

TK, I've got to get our fruit trees pruned too. It's just too muddy.

old When I was out working on the fountain, Friday, I saw my first Hummingbird fly by, 18 days ahead of their normal arrival date.
I now have my feeders filled and in place.
It was warm enough last night to get the froggies singing...

I buried some compost in the garden spot. Guess I should start thinking about my hummingbird feeders too.

yes, spring break is next week, me and Ashley go home to pack, we're in the process of buying a house. While we are home, we get the house inspected and if all looks ok we'll be signing the papers

That's so pretty and you have a lot of space to plant. You're gonna have to tiller up a BIG garden spot. So you're planning on staying in Texas then.

I have moon flower vine seeds soaking to plant,, I tried it last year but I planted too late in the spring and it got very hot outside very soon, and they didn't grow much to survive the heat. I'm starting them earlier this year and hopefully they will make it. thumbup
