This year I didn't plant any zinnia in the flower beds. I had a bunch of volunteers come up. But what I noticed is that the flowers are much, much smaller than they were. Can anyone tell me what's going on here?

I planted seeds of big ones and they are blooming small. No idea.

could it be the heat??? My flowers are much smaller this year,, even the vinca's
