I have 2 blueberry bushes, this is the 3rd year. The tag on the bushes reads " vaccinium corymbosum 'Berkley' ". They get good sun, water, not huge amt but they are in the sprinkler path, as well as rain. They have never flowered . Leaves look good. What is wrong ? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

I found this, "Most blueberry plants will produce a small harvest by their 3rd year, but won’t really begin to produce fully until about their 6th year"
What I have done to encourage flower production on some of my reluctant ornamentals was to dig around the roots as though I was planning on digging up a rootball. Not under the bush roots but around. It seems to worry them into thinking they may die and the next year they produce like crazy. I do this in the fall.
Good luck!

Have you done a soil test? Blueberries like a very acidic soil. Mine are three years old also. I do get a few flowers every year and berries. Although the deer and rabbit usually get them before I do. This year I didn't get any flowers because of a late freeze. It was a very strange winter.

My blueberries are staying about the same size. They aren't really growing. Do you have any suggestions or is this just the way blueberries are?
