My largest Red Miniature
rose Bush was comming along just great. I was working on having a full ball shaped bush. The last frost in this area took out one of the branches so I now have something that resembles a horseshoe when I look down at the plant.
My question is how do I shape it to help it grow back into it's ball shape? Do I hard prune back everything else until it's mostly ball shaped again and basically start over? Or is there a way to encourage interior stems to grow out into the space the dead branch left.
