Happens to me more than you would think...I usually notice it at the check out counter.
Now I'm wondering if they pay someone to do it.....

Ladies, it doesn' take TOO much idiocy to buy things you didn't mean to buy --- it just takes a little!

I needed a new set of dry measuring cups AND a new set of spoons. I found the dry measuring cups right away at a fairly good price and tossed them in my cart. Then I went on the hunt for the spoons. They were ridiculously priced and I couldn't believe it -- all that $ for some plastic spoons?! As it turned out, the least expensive set was by Paula Dean and had these ugly roosters at the top of each handle and the bowl of the spoon was basket shaped. Yuck. But I needed them, so I bought them.

Got all the way back to my town, unpacked the bags took out my new dry measuring cups to clip the plastic tie off of them. Guess what?

There was an entire set of spoons nested in with the cups! I hadn't noticed they were there and so bought the set I didn't like and didn't even need. They refunded me today, YAY!

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Well Mary- El that makes perfect sense to me... probably why I have 3 sets of measuring spoons right now in my drawer...LOL!
The storm never happened tonit .. at least not so far... so far so good.. really do not want a repeat of last night- that was the worst storm I can remember... never heard such loud and continuous thunder, and the lighting was just as continous, looked like daylight out there ...

Well off to get ready for bed.. will have boys all day tomorrow .. they have Jon working late so will feed them dinner too ... thinking oven fried chicken... ... some steamed veggies with cheese sauce for the boys.. and roasted red taters... may even make dessert...
well off to the pillow... nite all

A very busy week is over. Next week looks to be just as busy. I will enjoy this weekend. In the warm months I only do laundry when it is cool so as not to heat my house up with the dryer. So late or very early. I did some this morning and will do more early tomorrow. Then it is stripping beds.

It's kinda a habit...lol
When Bill poofs spammers that have posted it messes the topic up, so to fix it I post in the topic (just a letter) then when it posts I delete the post, and it fixes the topic back.

Just talked to Rachel...Jeremy was outside building their Saturday fire on the patio. That sounds kinda nice...it's a beautiful night in Kentucky.

UGH, having trouble with my lap top, just typed in my day yesterday, then my computer glitched, it had to "recover the tab" and my post was gone!

Anyway, had a busy day yesterday, got up early to help with Bountiful Baskets, then went to town (town being 40 miles away) for a meeting. Afterwards I went looking for a new soaker hose, couldn't find one like the ones I already have, but did find some Lupines. I've always wanted some so splurged! They are thick in the pots and was wondering if I should separate them a little when I plant them?? [Linked Image] After all the running around by the time I got home yesterday evening I felt like wilted lettuce! Sat in my chair and watched TV till it was late enough to go to bed!

So Sorry about your root canal, Sunflowers, those are just awful.

We used to go camping all the time as a child and I was in Girl Scouts and we used to sit around the campfire and sing songs. When my mom passed that is what we did for her "funeral" Sat around a campfire, sang songs and shared fond memories, it was actuall quite wonderful!

Time to get my day started, have a Wonderful Sunday flwr

Good morning. Pretty windy outdoors. I am thinking other than watering that indoor work will get done today.
That does sound like a wonderful way to remember your mother, Bobbi. And similar to what we did when my mother passed away. Only we did it in a local park.

Good morning all...very foggy here.

The week end seemed to fly by. Lots of work to do this week..I have a shed that needs scraping and painting. I wish I had the extra money to just put siding on it .

I tried to get as much of my needed running around as I could today. Tomorrow it is an oil change for my van. Want to keep my mph at optimum. I have done nothing outdoors except water.
Now I am counting the minutes until my hair is dry enough to lay it on my pillow. And to put my kid to bed.
