i'm drooling and I'm only on the second picture so far. If you ever find yourself having to thin the canna's I've got the perfect home for a clump.

I wish I could do the asiatic lilies but the moles find them and then they are gone. I like your selection of day lilies too. So far I just have the ditch lilies and a yellow variety. I bought a green variety called 'happy days' but it didn't come up this year.

Did you get any pictures of your yellow tree peonies blooms this year?

My tree peonies bloomed so early this year that I didn't get pictures. I have almost 100 daylily plants and around 75 to 80 different cultivars. Unfortunatley, I didn't keep the names of most of them so I have no idea what they are!

wow that's a ton of daylilies even if you just have one clump of each. I understand how easy it is to loose the names of cultivars. I frequently find myself searching through past posts trying to find where I named a particular one. Especially with the daffodils. And I'm only talking maybe a handful of cultivars.

Keep posting pictures. I always enjoy them. I'm suprised how fast your garden sprang back after the damage from a few years ago.

I was very lucky in that regard....but it actually took longer for our house to get back to normal than the garden! We had to have all the siding on the house and garage replaced, the roof on both as well, and the gutters. The deck had to restained and the porches repainted. Plus the PVC pipes (for watering) that ran from the side to the front porch had to be replaced. Fortunately, no windows were broken. We basicly have a new house! :-)

wow that is a lot of work. At least with all that new stuff your home maintenance should be light for awhile right? My todo list is on it's second page and that's the stuff I can't do myself.
