No thermometers yesterday. Just hands run over the beast then shots. Rabies, 7/1 and bordatella. A script written for heartworm stuff. Quick once we got in, we were right out. Just a long wait to get in. It was a shot clinic.

Cindy Lou Roscoe, I don't keep the cats out of the birds nest. They're laying in wait and I guess are a little intimated by the snake. I don't know why that stupid snake keeps coming back. Surely this isn't the only nest on 7 acres of land. I don't want to watch it but I don't want to kill the snake either.

The other week I came home to a killing field. There were bird and rabbit parts torn up all over the driveway and 3 dead mice laying at the back door.

The cats are smiling behind their ears and waiting.

I haven't seen a mouse since I've had Spartacus...so he must catch them and eat every bite. Ick!

I had a nasty fall today (believe it or not...). rolz
I'm pretty sure my knee is broken....I will go to the ER tomorrow and have it xrayed when Rachel gets here. It hurts so bad I can't hardly stand it...should have gone today but I kept hoping it would miraculously get better. Good thing I still have the crutches from when I broke my ankle last year.

This is right under the patella and a little to the outside...right where you can feel that joint. I fell and my knee hit a big rock.

Good morning all!

DiDi it is good to sse you on. Sorry about you missing an entire day's wook, though! Glad your coffee was so yummy today. Isn't that strange how that happens?

Sunflowers we are in yet another day of cold and rain also. sigh.

Maxi had a meltdown this morning. So I confiscated his laptop and sent him back to bed for 1 1/2 hours. He woke up in a MUCCH better mood the second time. We just gotta get him out of 10th grade in a couple of weeks. Exhaussting! haha

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Good Morning breakfast

Merme, I say lock that boy in a closet, put a brick on his head,...something lol---they grow up far too soon. Enjoy these years with him.

I got to see both my DD's yesterday, at my niece's graduation party. My youngest who is 6+ months into her pregnancy is finally looking like she may be carrying a child. I cannot wait. I am due to be a grandmother the first part of September.

Hi Merme wavy
I've had to send mine back to bed too when they get up with an attitude on weekends,,, OR if it's a school day I ask them if they didn't sleep well,,? if they said yes they slept well, then I tell them to lose the attitude cuz it will set the tone for the whole day,, you pick how your day goes,, then I give the one with the attitude a hug and tell them I love them and within minutes the attitude fades away grin

Carol I haven't forgotten you,, Just looking for something extra to fill the box up with kissie

Afternoon Everyone,
It's been hot today- in the 90's they say it may t-storm later which would be normal for us in June... did yesterday which was nice as it cooled it off nicely last night- I got out the window fans today to blow the heat out the windows upstairs , Joe will put the cooler in tonit if it doesn't rain when he gets home... was trying to do without it as long as we could to save the elec bill... I have our boys and the one from next door... they dug out old video games to play... to hot to stay outdoors for very long...
Yesterday our son took Joe to the Rockie's game .. they had a ball... Sean won tkts in the 11 row behind home base at his job so he wanted to give Joe and early Father's day present.. and he is coming over to help rebuild our back fence in a couple weeks... it's a bigger job than we thought at first have to replace posts too... oh boy there goes this yr's vaca money... oh well... we will take boys to zoo and museums I guess... LOL!Have a staycation...
I feel so bad for the lady next door- her boy plays here with the boys.. she has rented the house for over 2 yrs now and the owners quit makeing payments but were taking her rent of course.. house has been forclosed on now- and she was told by bank she had to get out... we told her to check with tenants laws before she moves... wish we could help her get all that rent money back for her too... such a nasty thing to do to someone... she would like to move to Utah to be close to her family but her ex won't let her take the kids out of state... not that he does a whole lot with them here... he's just very controlling ... which is why she divorced him to start with... I hope it all works out for her...

Well off to get busy... need to get something done to my office soon... it's a mess again- don't know why everything ends up in there...LOL!
Nana
