Boy Carol, that is miniature. The ones I put out are a little more than twice that big. I'll have to get a picture.

Ikr sunflowers. I can't believe that iris is blooming. I've never had one bloom in winter and I'll bet if Lowe's had known that those Gerber's were going to look this good this far into the year they wouldn't have put them on sale.

I need help with this hydrangea please. I bought it 2 years ago, I think, and it hasn't done well at all. First I planted it in the ground and it almost totally died. I moved it to another spot in the ground. Didn't improve. I dug it up and planted it in this pot. It hardly grew all spring and summer. It's been in the greenhouse but as you can see it looks pitiful. Any ideas?

Looks a bit sunburned to me, Sheri - when you get red leaves like that it often is sunburn. My hydrangeas out front wilt in the morning sun but perk back up when the sun moves around to the other side of the house during summer.

it's been in the greenhouse for a few months now but I guess it could have gotten too much sun.

That hydrangea was small but looked healthy when I got it. When I first planted it I put it in semi shade and watered it daily for a while. Left it one whole season. Didn't grow an inch and started looking pitiful. Someone told me that it was getting too much sun so I moved it to a shadier location and watered. Still looked pitiful. Then I put it in a pot so I could make sure it was getting enough moisture. As you can see it's still pitiful. I think this spring I'll stick it back in the ground and let nature take it's course.
