DH bought me two Mountain variety boxwoods. Is it my imagination or do they smell like cat pee ? I think I have lost my mind.

Some boxwoods are listed as fragrant. I'm wondering if there wasn't a male cat housed with the ones you got? Maybe that smell will fade.

Not sure but they stink...I even watered them out fully, still the same. It's a weird musky ammonia scent.
