My pole beans, zuchinnis, squash, and watermelon have gotten really big and strong. So, it was time to stick them outside for 2-3 hours so they can grow into big boys. Well... it was going ok until a HUGE gust of wind blew them sideways! The pole beans and most of the watermelons took it like a champ but the zuchinni and squash still sideways. I used the sturdy garden labels to prop them up. Will that help? Do I need to wait a bit before I harden them again?

Before you try to harden seedlings. You may want to try what my mom taught me. Place a fan on low occulting on and off the plants for a day Ar two prior to goin outside. Always worked for me.

I like that idea with the fan...gets them used to the breezes...or in Wy the winds! But what about temperature fluxes?
